What does December in New York City look like? MAGICAL is one word that comes to mind.
Recently I spent some time in NYC going to Broadway shows, visiting some of the most iconic sites in the city including Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, 5th Avenue, The Plaza Hotel, 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, and so much more! If you haven’t had NYC on your must see cities I’d highly recommend visiting in December for all the Christmas Spectacular the city has to offer!

Recently I spent a long weekend in Puerto Rico and boy have I missed out on a great place to visit. If you want to experience the Caribbean without the passport, this is your destination! The beaches are spectacular, the food is ah-mazing, the weather is perfect (well maybe a bit warmer than usual), the excursions are endless, the Island is the perfect destination for those wanting to escape the cold! No, there are no all-inclusive resorts, but you will feel at home and want to explore the many cuisines all throughout the island. Old San Juan is a beautiful area to walk around and see the history and shop local. Some of the small shop owners are the nicest people you will meet on the island. Stop at Barrachina’s, home of the original Pina Colada.

Last week I got back from a once in a lifetime adventure in Peru 🇵🇪

A small group from ND traveled to Peru to hike the Inka Trail which is a 27 mile hike from near Ollantaytambo, Peru all the way to the Inca site of Machu Picchu. It’s not for the faint of heart, it’s mentally and physically challenging. But let me tell you if I can do it, so can you!
My favorite words other than “we are there!” were when we walked on “Andean flat” 🤣 we slept in tents, had no electricity, no showers, and the toilets, let’s just say they were interesting, all for 4 straight days and 3 nights.
But the bonding and conversations we had with our group and new friends we made from around the world made the trip all worth it!
