Japan will launch Digital Nomad visa in spring 2024.

What are the requirements?
Income. nationality, and period are not really ideal for many digital nomads around the world but it's a good start because it normally takes a lot of time to begin a new thing in Japan. We hope it'll change more flexible in the future.

People from 49 countries and territories will be able to stay in Japan under the “specified activities” visa category.
