I had my Christmas already, I was on my feet and got to experience the work of Jesus yesterday. Babies with new toys from Santa (Rob Musick) and
families taking much needed food and clothing home. I saw Jesus, on a day that I needed him most!
Thank you, Grace Pastor Debby and John Robert Croswell with Croswell VIP Motorcoach Services and Judi Conway Patton for the continued blessings on our beautiful people in Jesus name.

By far one of my favorite motor coach groups. Several days in
Pikeville-Pike County, KY Mrs. Carol’s group toured the University of Pikeville and our favorite Governor Paul Patton gave the medical school tour. They loved every second. We look forward to their return trip in 2024.

Election to the Country Music Hall of Fame is country music's highest honor, and member-elect Patty Loveless will be inducted on Sunday, October 22.

Patty Loveless long seemed destined for a country music career. Like her distant cousin Loretta Lynn, she is a Kentucky coal miner’s daughter. While still in high school, she took Lynn’s place in the Wilburn Brothers’ road show. Following a brief detour singing rock songs in bar bands, Loveless pursued her true calling as a country recording artist starting in the mid–1980s.

From the outset, her soaring, tradition-infused voice stood out, as did her astute choices in songs about real life and hardships. Between 1988 and 2003, she scored thirty-one Top Twenty country hits, including the “Timber I’m Falling in Love,” “Blame It on Your Heart,” and “Lonely Too Long.”

In 2001, Loveless forged a new, creative direction with the album “Mountain Soul,” inspired by the bluegrass, gospel, and old-time music of her native Appalachia. Despite receiving little radio play, the album landed on many Top Ten country album lists and, later, on lists of the best country albums of the decade. “Mountain Soul II,” released in 2009, won a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.

In recent years, a new generation of country stars—including Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton, and Chris Young—have enlisted Loveless for duets. Her influence continues to grow as emerging country and Americana artists cite her powerful voice and her ability to create country music hits while staying connected to country music’s core traditions.

Court Day is almost here! For all our first-time visitors, we've created a checklist to help prepare you for everything you are about to experience.

BRING CASH - "Cash is King" at Court Day. You'll probably need to pay for parking, and those lots will only take cash. Also, sometimes there are so many visitors to our festival that the mobile networks become overloaded. We've got you covered. We have plenty of ATMs available for use.

WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES - You are going to walk a lot! Most of the festival is on pavement, but there are some areas which are on gravel or grass. We recommend some comfortable closed toed shoes.

BRING A JACKET OR SWEATSHIRT - Hey, it is Kentucky weather after all! We've seen it all during this festival. Hot, cold, rain, sleet, and snow. Some of those on the same day! The forecast looks OK this weekend. It could be a bit chilly and wet. Check the forecast before you leave the house and dress accordingly.

BACK-PACK - Great for packing a jacket and some bottled water. Also great for carrying all the neat stuff you are going to buy!

SHOP LOCAL - We have hundreds of great vendors at our festival. We also have some unique local businesses who would love to have you drop by and see them! The holiday season is right around the corner. You’ll certainly be able to find that perfect gift this weekend for that special someone in your life!

BRING A FRIEND - We can't wait for you to visit! The festival is a lot of fun when you come with friends or families. There is something for everyone here! Besides, you want to have someone to share all this fun with!

BRING AN APPETITE - You'll smell Court Day before you see it! You won't have to ask for directions on how to get here, just follow your nose. You'll find something around every corner which will have you standing in line to order another delicious treat. Don't worry, you walk it off!

MUSIC - Two stages. Two days of music. Eat, shop, sit, relax, listen, dance. Repeat.

PLAN YOUR ROUTE - All roads lead to Court Day! Remember, if you are coming in off of I64 you have three exit options. The 101 exit will bring you in to the west end of Mt Sterling. The 110 exit will bring you in to the north of the festival area. The 113 exit will bring you in to the east of Mt. Sterling. The 110 exit is usually the busiest on the weekend (mainly because GPS routes you that way). Use the exit which works best for you. Also, remember where you park. After all that walking, the last thing you want to do is have to look for your vehicle! When leaving, the 101 and 113 exits may be the best exit options.

NO PETS - Our festival can be very crowded and loud. There are also a lot of different smells (all that food!) This can be overwhelming for many animals. We ask that you leave your fur baby at home. Service animals are permitted.

HAVE FUN! You'll make some memories while you are here! Find that item you've just got to have. Discover that special gift for someone which you've just not been able to find anywhere else. Enjoy a Court Day scavenger hunt with friends. Eat some of the most delicious food ever. Run into a long-lost friend or old classmate. Listen to some great music. See a Mullet Champion crowned. People watch. You'll leave tired but is so worth it!
