Counselling is quality ‘Me’ time – a time to reflect, refocus and recharge; a time
given, just to you where someone will truly listen and give you the opportunity to be really heard. Therapy is humanistic, integrative and differentiated to your unique needs and personal framework. I aim to help through grounded psychological perspectives, to explore solutions, examine beliefs and choices, develop
purpose and motivation and make changes, within an empathic and supportive environment. Simply having someone to talk to can often be a great relief. I will help you to see and understand the process by which we can become trapped in our own issues. This insight can often enable us to make choices and find our sparkling moments and unique solutions. Counselling aims to address the cause of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms. I appreciate that each person is unique and experiences things in different ways. I endeavour to establish the innate resources available to you to turn your problems into outcomes, improve your live, and develop coping strategies for future difficulties. Counselling is as individual as you are. It can:
Raise self-awareness and self-esteem
Re-motivate and re-energise
Promote personal and professional development
Help to develop emotional wellbeing
Challenge persistent low moods, anxiety and stress
Formulate plans and Achieve potential
