After many years of Rainbow Tour sharing the story of the LGBTQ+ community with audiences from abroad, we realized that this story also needs to be heard here in Israel, where it all took place🇮🇱

Telling the story of the LGBTQ+ community to an Israeli audience often raises many questions, and not all of them have clear answers. We all grew up here, feeling the changes, the pain, the joy, and the love. We all share the desire for a better Israel—one that embraces everyone.

Join us to hear the story of the LGBTQ+ community up close. Discover how it reflects and reveals the deepest and most hidden layers of our identity as Israelis, and how the story of diversity touches not just the LGBTQ+ community, but all of us🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🫂

We know these are not usual time to talk about q***r life in Israel, but it’s important to state that q***r Israelis have a voice too and we are proud to speak up.

‏Last June, the LGBTQ community marched together for human rights around the world. Free love and diversity were celebrated in dozens of cities in the State of Israel. The struggle for q***r rights has always been difficult and complex, but in a democratic country like Israel, we were privileged to fight and even win quite a bit. In recent weeks we have discovered that the global q***r community is not on our side. While many of our community were murdered and burned on October 7th, and others are fighting against the terrorism and crimes of Hamas, members of the LGBTQ community around the world support an organization that hunts down and murders LGBTQ people, rapes women and murders anyone in its path, including its own citizens.
‏The global q***r community has taken a one-sided position encouraging hatred towards Jews instead of encouraging open and respectful discourse. Such a liberal community is supposed to present complexity and allow respectful discourse, but does the opposite.
‏We at Rainbow Tour, are a q***r Israeli organization that will forever stand against the crimes of Hamas and condemn any kind of support for terrorism. The State of Israel has every right to defend itself against the crimes of October 7th. As long as 241 abductees are in the Gaza Strip and have not returned to their families, we will fight until we win.

הקיום של הקהילה שלנו תמיד היה בשינוי מחלוקת.
רק לפני 35 שנה הזהות שלנו נהייתה חוקית במדינה, ובשביל זה נלחמו המון אנשים.
הם נאבקו מאבקים קשים בשביל שתהיה לנו היום זכות קיום.
כשאנחנו חלק מהקהילה, בין אם רוצים ובין אם לא- ההיסטוריה שלנו, האירועים שהובילו אותנו לאיפה שאנחנו היום, הזכויות שיש לנו ואין לנו, מעצבים את החיים שלנו.
אפשר להסתכל על זה כמו הדור שהקים מדינה, דור שנלחם ובנה משהו מאפס על מנת שלנו, הדור של היום, יהיו פחות דאגות.
אז למה בעצם כל כך חשוב ללמוד על ההיסטוריה שלנו ועל הקהילה שלנו? ולמה זה כל כך רלוונטי להיום?
בגלל שאנחנו עדיין לא ניצחנו ועדיין נשאר על מה להילחם!
ומי ילחם על הזכויות שלנו אם לא אנחנו?
במיוחד שההומופוביה נוכחת הרבה יותר במרחב הציבורי בחודשים האחרונים.
חשוב לדעת על מה רק המלחמה- מאיזה אירועים אנחנו לומדים, מה עבד ומה פחות.
אז אם אתם רוצים ללמוד על ההיסטוריה הזאת, שרלוונטית לנו לחיים בקהילה, תבואו איתנו לסיור שמסביר על הדבקים החשובים: האירועים, האנשים והזכויות. כל זה בתדרוך של פעולות, משחקים ואתרים היסטוריים!

אתמול זכינו לפגוש את נמרוד גורנשטיין, חבר הוועד המנהל באגודה למען הלהט״ב, שנתן לנו זוויות נוספות ופרספקטיבות מעניינות על המורכבות החוקתית במדינה. נמרוד חידד תהליכים משפטיים ופוליטיים הנוגעים לזירה הלהטב״קית וחיזק את כוחה של הקהילה הגאה כחלק מהמאבק הכללי נגד אפליה ולמען שוויון ודמוקרטיה.

אנחנו לא עוצרים.ות ולא נחים.ות לרגע כדי להביא את התוכן הכי מדויק ורלוונטי שאפשר.

היום העברנו את אחד הסיורים הכי משמעותיים של ריינבו טור.
בימים האחרונים פוליטיקאים משולי המפה הפוליטית החליטו לתקוף תכנית העשרה בנושא זכויות אדם של תיכון הגימנסיה הריאלית בראשון לציון שהתקיימה היום. גם אנחנו לקחנו חלק באירוע המרגש הזה, ולכן גם הפכנו למושא של טינופים ברשת. תנו לנו להבהיר - אנחנו לא נרתעים, אנחנו גאות וגאים להמשיך לספר את סיפור הקהילה הלהט"בית בישראל, במיוחד בימים שהקולות שקוראים להשתיק אותנו גוברים. זכויות להט"ב הן זכויות אדם, וכל מי שינסה לפגוע בהן יתקל בהתנגדות בעוצמה שהוא לא הכיר. פוליטיקאים, צייצנים וגיבורי מקלדת - אתם חושבים שאתם רק סופרים לייקים על פוסטים רצופי שקרים ושנאה, אבל בקצה יכול להיות לזה ביטוי אלים. כבר היינו שם, ואם נחזור לשם יהיה לכם דם על הידיים.
לא ניתן שיחזירו אותנו לארון, לא ניתן שיערערו על עצם הקיום שלנו, לא ניתן שיפגעו בנו. אנחנו כאן כדי להישאר, ומוכנות.ים להילחם על זה

Happy ally week to all! As Q***r people know, we do not control who we love. But even if you are not a part of the Q***r community, you can still take steps to help us feel welcome and fight for equality. A few tips to be a good ally to the LGBTQ+ community💐:

1. Be open-minded. Often we become defensive when we do not understand something. So being a good ally requires respect and listening.
2. Call out and identify prejudice when you hear it.
3. Do not assume anyone is straight.
4. When voting, support candidates or parties that are thoughtful about the Q***r community.
5. Learn about the Q***r community and its history!
