March 20 – Walt Disney World Annual Passholder can start booking rental reservations
March 21 - All guests can make reservations

Tucked away in the wondrous woodlands of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, each spacious one-bedroom cabin villa will offer the comforts of “home” and the joys of staying in the great outdoors. The first loop of cabins will open on July 1, with more loops opening throughout the year.

Yesterday, Disney celebrated the grand opening of Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort, the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States! Inspired by the artistry and innovative storytelling of Pixar Animation Studios, the 479-room hotel is filled with nods to beloved films from “Toy Story” to “Ratatouille” and “Elemental.” In fact, there is a nod to every Pixar feature film to date!

At Pixar Place Hotel, Guests will see so many familiar Pixar friends brought to life in a whole new way, through various styles of playful artwork, contemporary décor and even surprise visits!

The Lego stores in Downtown Disney and Disney Springs offer a unique and immersive experience for Lego enthusiasts. You can find impressive Lego sculptures (like these two massive dragons!), interactive play areas, and a vast selection of Lego sets, including exclusive Disney themed ones. The Pick-A-Brick Wall allows you to create custom assortments, and the Build-A-Mini station lets you customize your own Lego minifigures. It's a captivating destination for both kids and adults who appreciate the creativity and fun of Lego.

The massive Maleficent Dragon battle figures took over 2 million Legos! Can you believe that? Super crazy. I love walking by and admiring all of the fun sculptures, they are just so impressive!

The lamp above the fire station at Disneyland is known as the "Walt Disney Lamp.' It remains lit as a tribute to Walt Disney, symbolizing his enduring presence and creativity in the park. When Walt was in the park, the lamp would be turned off as a signal to the staff. Since his passing, the lamp has remained lit as symbolic gesture.

I know this is one of the first things I look at when I enter Main Street. The thought of Walt still being in the park just gives me all the warm fuzzies. Grateful for Walt Disney's visionary spirit that brought joy to countless lives through the magic of Disney.

Visiting Downtown Disney on non-theme park days is a great idea because it offers a unique shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. You can explore a variety of shops, enjoy diverse cuisine, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere without needing a park ticket.

I often visit Downtown Disney on my arrival and departure dates. Those are generally non-theme park days for me, but in my opinion it helps extend the magic✨. I am so excited for the changes coming to Downtown! A rooftop bar sounds amazing, and who doesn’t love Mexican food?!?

Porto’s is also scheduled to have a location in Downtown Disney. If you aren’t familiar with Porto’s it’s a bakery with several locations in Southern California. They have the most amazing food! I’m super excited they are coming to Downtown Disney so I won’t have to drive out of the way anymore.

🐉For the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney’s California Adventure Park the cost of the Sip & Savor Pass is $43 or $40 for Magic Key Holders. The pass includes 6 coupons that you can redeem for select food and nonalcoholic drinks at participating Lunar New Year Marketplaces and dining locations. Totally worth it if the dishes you choose are more than $7.17. New this year you have the option of purchasing a Sip & Savor Pass with attached coupons or you can purchase a scannable pass.

My friends and I have purchased passes in the past and shared them so everyone can get what they want and you don’t feel obligated to use all 6 coupons yourself. The coupons expire on 2.18.24 so you can split them up among your trip however you see fit.
