Congratulations to CLAC for making one of the worst negotiations in the history of the oilsands. You really know how to stick it to the people working for you. No more over time for employees as of October 15th. There will be no special metals tickets bonus so welders will only get paid on the day that they are welding stainless for the ticket. Whoever voted yes to this agreement obviously can't do basic math.

Canada could already be absorbing 20 to 30 per cent more CO2 than we emit.

Using the same calculation, the “Big Four” polluters of China, the U.S., the European Union, and India, which together are responsible for a whopping 60 per cent of global CO2 emissions, release 10 times more CO2 than their combined land area absorbs.

Canada doesn’t seem very dirty now, do we?

What Trudeau and his government don’t understand is Albertans don’t want handouts. They want pipelines and sound policies that don’t scare away capital investment.

Instead, on Tuesday, Albertans got more bad policy in the form of federal incentives using our own money.

Wednesday’s convoy was the latest pro-oil and gas rally in Alberta staged amid growing frustrations. And the crowds are getting bigger. Last weekend, a rally in Grande Prairie saw 600 trucks snake their way through the northern city. Two weeks ago, a group in Drayton Valley drew a crowd. Collectively, the events have drawn thousands of people.

Hundreds of truckers rallied for Alberta’s beleaguered oil and gas industry Wednesday, forming a 22-kilometre long convoy around Nisku and signalling to the rest of Ca...

“We’re working class and we just want to go to work. We’re here to do everything as ethical and as environmentally friendly as possible,” he said.

A 22-kilometre long truck convoy will make its way through the Nisku industrial area, where many oil and gas companies have been affected by the low price of Alberta crude.

There are thousands of Calgarians/Albertans out of jobs during this Christmas season but this company is advertising this “Stop the Pipelines. No more tar sands”. I’m boycotting this company and you should too.

"Canada has been very clear. The section 232 justification is frankly absurd. The notion that Canadian steel and aluminum could pose a national security threat to the U.S. — I think Americans understand it's simply not the case. It is illegal under NAFTA and WTO rules," Freeland said, while noting the U.S. has a surplus in steel trade with Canada.

Two of the president’s fiercest Republican foes have come to Canada's defence as a trade war brews between the U.S and its neighbour to the north over steel and aluminum imports.

Boss of the Kinder Morgan pipeline did an interview with the Calgary Sun. It wasn’t good.

“The Houston bigwig doesn’t mind telling us what is on his mind.

Bang! “It’s become clear this particular investment may be untenable for a private company to undertake.”

Boom! “The events of the last ten days have confirmed these views.”

That’s an ouch.”
