WanderAndWonder Discovering Taking a sabbatical as an adult and traveling the world indefinitely is what we have dreamt of for the last 7 years.

After 10 years of working and graduating from our MBA programs we have finally made it a reality. We have bought a one way ticket to Ethiopia and the rest we will figure out as we go. We said that when we travel the world it should be on only a carry on and that’s what we are doing. Our initial plan is to spend 6 weeks in East Africa, 6 Weeks in the Himalayas and 6 weeks in Southeast Asia. The cou

ntries we are going to are going to be new countries for Lona but not all for Connor since he has been to 60+ countries and it is difficult to find many countries on our route that he has not been to before. Austin has been with us on several journeys before. He is in transition between an MPA career and an academic career in Medical Anthropology, so he has enough time to join us for the Africa part of our travels (his work is in Cameroon, where we all traveled in 2010).
