Goddess Tripurasundari is known as the governess of the universe. Tripurasundari has three forms: Tripura Bala, Tripura Sundari, and Tripura Bhairavi. Goddess Tripurasundari was created to protect the people on earth and in heaven by killing the demon Bhandasura. She is so powerful that along with Lord Shiva, she creates, protects, and destroys the universe.

No one known the exact date when the temple was built but Godness Tripurasundari is one of the prominent deities of the historical town Dolakha.

The remote places Buddhist monastery (Bigu Gompa) is a female monks temple located in the corner of Bigu Village of Dolakha. The Bigu Gompa is such a place for Meditation and with the purpose of resettlement of female Monks and nuns can stay and offer daily Buddhist practices again.

This bigu trek is the short form camping trek in Nepal where you can explore the remote monastery and real organic village in the Himalayan foothills.

A day excursion around Bigu and meet the local Sherpa people, following some of the ancient Buddhist stupas you feel as a Buddhist person and then camp a tent in night on peace environment.

One of the major attractions in the Dolakha is the Bhimsen Temple. The main statue featured in the temple is the god Bhim. The idol is believed to resemble three deities-: Bhimeshwar in the morning, Mahadeva throughout the day, and Narayana in the evening and the statue is known to sweat and it is considered to be a bad omen for the people if it sweats on the left side.
Just 4.5 kilometers from Charikot Town Dolakha.

Winter in Dolakha is not just a season but a celebration. Kalinchowk (Kuri) is the most popular and probable place to find snow or snowfall near Kathmandu. (Elevation - 3842 M)

Kharidunga popular shooting destination at Dolakha, has an elevation of 2540 metres. As the road climbs higher, one gets splendid views of the Himalayan range; on a clear day even Dhaulagiri and Annapurna can be seen in the Far West.
Kharidhunga also boasts one of the world's best magnesite deposits; and intensive industrial mining took place here.

One can make a plan to visit kharidunga this winter to have a relaxing joy this winter with live snowfalls.

Cherdung is a view point on the top of hill from Jiri. Beautiful view point where we can camp as well. The highlight of this viewpoint is Mt. Gaurisankhar and Mt.Pathivara with other mountain range around it.

( दोलखा भिमसेन मन्दिर). 🕉️
Dolakha Bhimsen Temple is roofless in the center and it houses a triangular-shaped stone idol of bhimsen. Around 4.5 km east of Charikot. Inside a peaceful city dolakha.
The idol is believed to resemble three deities:
Bhimeshowr in the morning, Mahadeva throughout the day, and Narayana in the evening. And it’s one of the most visited temple in Nepal. We believe his grace is sufficient. 🙏

KALINCHOWK is a popular name for its natural beauty and snowfall experience in winter. Besides that, there is a famous religious site Kalinchowk Bhagawati. Kalinchowk Nepal is situated in Dolakha district, around 150 KM (5hours) far from Kathmandu. One can enjoy the view from 3842 meters.
