So excited for this person who just booked Vietnam!

She's going on the new travel style with G Adventures called "Soloish." G is already incredible for solo travellers, but friends and couples and families also travel (which is great!) But G wanted to get back to their roots of being for solo travellers, so it's entirely made of people who don't know each other!

I really like the idea and am wanting to try on my own!

Some other differences of soloish tours:

Expectations vs reality.

I know a lot of people, myself included, do a little photo editing before posting. However if it's really obvious it's a filter that's ok, but when it's edited so wildly different... That's very misleading and can lead to a lot of people being upset when they get there.

First (left) pic was one I have seen circulating and the other three were from my trip forever ago.

Wildly diff, ya?

What do you think about excessively edited pics? Beautiful or misleading?

Atlas and Swan and I'm sure some other companies are actually raising their prices on January 1st (Not just removing sales, but actually raising base rate).

I'm in talks with getting a group rate to lock in some lower rates but if you can't make it on one of my group trips (Looking at Jan or Feb 2026) to get some options before those prices go up

Not too late to order my Travel Journals on Amazon to arrive by Christmas!

These (and more to come! safari and Galapagos are next!) journals are hand drawn by a local artist, and I did all the writing!

I used to be a teacher, so I think this is a fun mix of education and entertainment. Edutainment!

They both have activities and fun facts and did ways to customize to your specific trip. And they both also have blank pages to write about your trip!

I just wanted to thank Luigi Mangione for going hiking with me in the Amazon on Dec 4 and took this picture of us!

I just remember how much he said he loved the Amazon and how it was so much better than a major city like New York.

He said he was glad to be from the US with its completely reasonable health insurance policies. Which I thought was weird at first but I think it's because he saw a Tarantula.

Silly guy was so afraid of the spider, he took his shirt off. Silly goose.

DAY 1 of ADVENTure calendar is Egypt!

I decided to do my ADVENTure calendar differently this year, and it's going to be my top 24 destinations I've sold this year!!

So first up is Egypt! TBh when I went, I was really only interested in the pyramids because they're a wonder, but like literally everyday the sites got cooler!

My main downside to Egypt when I went was the heat ( I had to go during summer because I was teaching) and I didn't care so much for the vendors being aggressive. But other than that... great!

I actually also had a lot of people asking to take a pic with me because I have greenish eyes and had RED hair at the time lol.

Did you know you only need 8 people to get a private group?

These two families wanted a tour, but couldn't because they had some kids under the age range. So since it was two families of 4, they were able to get a private departure and now the kiddos can go!
