I know it’s dark, but I just can’t get up and leave. @barnesandnomadstravel My phone made this really cool #Memories reel of my trip to #Florida 😍 I spent 4 days in Miami Beach and 2 days in Ft. Lauderdale. We stayed at the Marriott Stanton South Beach and Marriott Harbor Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. I recommend both of these properties if you are traveling to Miami for ocean views/beach access. Stanton is located right on Ocean Drive, next to the beginning of the bike path in the Art Deco District of South Beach. We were walking distance from many top rated restaurants, don’t expect budget friendly meals though lol. We ventured out to the city and toured Little Havana, recommended for Cuban food and cigars. We took a tour through Coral Gables (I said this is where the old money resides lol.) A highlight was our boat tours from Bayfront Park, we learned about the history of Cuban revolution, and we ventured out to the Everglades as we heard about the business ventures surrounding that area and their impacts present day. We finalized our exploration of downtown Miami in the Wynwood District, a must see, and we grabbed some #WorldFamous food from @worldfamoushouseofmac 🤤🤤.
