We stayed in a double connecting room and it was absolutely gorgeous!

1 room with a king bed, couch and bathroom. 1 room with 2 twin beds, couch and bathroom. A shared balcony and a shared foyer with bar!

✈️ Traveling to Cuba? I'm sure you have heard that lately, they are experiencing power outages.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are a few helpful tips: (these tips can be used always when traveling to poor countries! Remember yes your resort may look beautiful, but they struggle!)

🔋 1. Pack Essentials: I recommend bringing a portable power bank to keep your devices charged, a flashlight or headlamp for any nighttime power outages, and a battery-operated fan to stay cool if air conditioning is unavailable.
📱 2. Stay Informed: Be sure to stay updated on local conditions through your hotel or travel apps. It might also be a good idea to get a local SIM card or portable Wi-Fi device to ensure reliable communication.
💕 3. Be Flexible: Please keep in mind that some services, like restaurants or transportation, may be limited. I suggest staying at reputable hotels, which often have backup generators.
🥨 4. Bring Snacks: To be on the safe side, consider packing a few non-perishable snacks in case of any temporary disruptions in food service.
💸 5. Carry Cash: Since ATMs and card machines may be affected during power outages, it’s a good idea to have enough cash on hand for your daily needs.

While power outages may pose some challenges, with a little preparation, you’ll still be able to enjoy the beauty and culture of Cuba. ⛱️

My kids travel ALOT. I'm going to start sharing my go to secrets with how they are such good successful travelers.

I always get comments about how well all 3 of them travel ♡

Tip #1: I always pack a backpack that each child can bring for themselves as their personal item. For my kids, they always bring their special blanket or doll, colouring, busy book, books, tablet & headphones, tons of snacks & a cup. I also include a change of clothes just incase and diapers (if needed still).
