The U17MC North West has evolved since 2010 with several partners working together for a common goal - to help educate young riders & drivers through Motorsport. With our events you will be able to experience the thrill of driving in a safe, controlled environment where our experienced drivers and instructors will be able to assist you through the basics of driving. After learning the basics, if o

ur instructors feel that you are capable enough, you will be able to put what you learnt to the test by completing a corse laid out to test teach your real car control! If you would like to learn more why not visit

The U17MC North West has evolved since 2010 with several partners working together for a common goal - to help educate young riders & drivers through Motorsport. Development of more opportunities at Motorsport events has now removed the barriers to young drivers and they have several disciplines available from the age of 12 years old. The Under 17 Motor Club North West is a not for profit organisation that is registered with the Motor Sport Association.

The Team have been working tirelessly since losing Lymm to secure a new venue and have managed to secure the use of a new site for their JUNE event!

With special thanks to Gail Millward- Jackson, and links with The Manchester College, the June event will take place at at Openshaw Campus, M11 2WH.

The regulations have now been finalised and entries will go live 6-weeks before the event!

!! FINAL INSTRUCTIONS !!
Dear competitor, many thanks for your entry to this event.

Please find attached the following for Sunday’s Blackburn event:
-          Final instructions – please read carefully
-          Test diagrams x2 and site layout - X2 Note that the autotest route has slight changes from the AutoSOLO, and with reversing through a gate.
-          Entry list showing you groups and marshalling allocations
-          Number template to be changed to your number and printed for attaching to your car.

Please ensure that you print everything you need – we will not be providing copies on the day.

We will be setting up the course on Saturday between 14:00 and 16:00 and would be grateful for any assistance, so please feel free to come along and help. This will also give you the opportunity to walk the test on the Saturday! Note that you will limited to a two hour stay on Saturday – the ANPR cameras will be active – stay longer at your own risk. On Sunday, we have all your number plates, so this should not be an issue, however, if you are bringing another vehicle which is not listed on the entry list, please provide your registration to the organising team.

As previously advised we have unfortunately lost the use of Lymm Trucks too,and while seeking a new venue of a similar ilk will be utilising Blackburn with Darwen M65 Services.

The event will take place on 6th April 2025, and will be Autosolo, Autotest & PCA
