Buffel - the Southern Elephant Seal, recently made an appearance in the Deep South and our guide Paul managed to capture the action. If you’re not familiiar with the story of Buffel, this 1200+kg male Southern Elephant Seal graces us with his presence to lay on various beaches around the Cape for his yearly moult. He is said to have arrived in Cape Town in 2014 and has since been gracing the Cape coastline with his presence, showing up at various beaches around the Western Cape.
