My family makes a point to meet the Cruise Director on every cruise we take. The Cruise Director is responsible for ALL the entertainment that guests will experience on board the ship. I seriously don’t know when they sleep. 😂😴 It’s always so fun to say hello and get to know them a little more. I highly recommend stopping if you pass your Cruise Director in the halls!!

Happy Wednesday! I spent the weekend in Walt Disney World for the Wine and Dine runDisney Race Weekend. The timing couldn’t have been anymore perfect - I got to experience the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass with my favorite VIPs. 😉❤️

This is something I talk about with my travelers all the time!! Guests are absolutely welcome to bring their own drinks (water, soft drinks, sports drinks), snacks, sandwiches, and meals into the parks with them. A few rules though, you cannot:
✨ Use a hard sided cooler (must be soft sided)
✨ Use loose ice (must be ice packs - no baggies of ice!)
✨ Bring glass Tupperware (must be plastic or ziploc bags. Stainless steel is OK but you will set off the metal detector)
✨ Bring alcohol

Cars Land, Avengers Campus, Toontown, oh my!!! I absolutely love the Disneyland Resort. Home to the original theme parks and the start of all Disney magic, it’s absolutely worth taking the trek to the west coast! ❤️

A little throwback for some educational purposes. 🥰❤️

When you’re visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or sailing Disney Cruise Line with the babies, we can request a crib or pack n play to be delivered to your room at no additional charge. They come with a fitted and flat sheet. It makes life so much easier not needing to haul that sleeping space along!
‼️ While not guaranteed, I’ve never heard of a family not getting one in any destination.
‼️ Even when I do request the crib or pack n play ahead of time for my families, there’s a 99% chance it will NOT be in the room upon arrival. No big deal, just call Mousekeeping from your in room phone and they’ll bring it up!

Animal Kingdom is notorious for being the hottest of the Disney theme parks. It’s so easy to take breaks here though!! Festival of the Lion King and The Big Blue…and Beyond! are spectacular theater style shows that are fun for the whole family - and are air conditioned!

Minnie Vans are without question one of the most underrated luxury additions to a Walt Disney World vacation.

A few quick facts:
⭐️ Minnie Vans are summoned via the Lyft app, but are operated (and designed!) by Disney and it’s Cast Members.
⭐️ Despite being summoned via Lyft, you have full Disney transportation privileges. So if you want to be dropped off or picked up from the Magic Kingdom, you’ll be dropped off right in the front of the park (instead of the ride share lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center).
⭐️ All Minnie Vans are equipped with two car seats. Cast Members will install those suckers in like 90 seconds. It’s impressive.
⭐️ This is PHENOMENAL option in situations where families need to get from resort to resort…so if you’re staying at the Polynesian and have a breakfast reservation at the Riviera…grab a Minnie Van!
⭐️ This is also a phenomenal option for families who may have park plans and someone naps a little too long. We use Minnie Vans A LOT for this reason. 😂

Have you heard? Families visiting Walt Disney World in 2025 and staying on property will receive a Water Park ticket for their arrival day! We don’t have a ton of details yet, but I’ll keep you posted as we learn more!

We’re still waiting for all the formal details for package options, but we can begin booking this coming Tuesday, October 22nd. Anyone on my list already will be hearing from me in the next few days. Security lines in the Disney Parks can be overwhelming if you don’t know what to expect.

If you have a stroller, everything will need to come out of the storage area so the Cast Member can see to the bottom. For this reason, I really recommend packing bags strategically and as compact as you can.

If you have a bag (or bags), they will go with you through the metal detector. However, there are a few things you should take out and hold in front of you to avoid getting dinged for secondary screening:
✨ Umbrellas
✨ Small metal containers - think mint tints, little first aid kits, even makeup compacts set it off sometimes!
✨ Glasses cases
✨ Big camera accessories (extra batteries and lenses)

If you do get dinged, you’ll be directed to a secondary screening table where a Cast Member will do a standard bag check and send you on your way!

Disney Cruise Line Concierge is such an elevated level of experience for everyone in the family. I cannot recommend it enough!

A few benefits I think are worth highlighting:

✨ Concierge level guests are the first to book any Port Adventures and On-Board activities for any sailing.
✨ If your family is considering a private family cabana on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, or wanting to attend the Princess Tea Party/Olaf's Royal Picnic, you need to sail concierge to even have a shot at these benefits
✨ Instead of waking up at midnight and making your own Port Adventure and On-Board activity reservations, I work with Concierge Shoreside Services and we handle them on your behalf.
✨ Concierge level guests are welcome to board the ship at any time during the boarding process. Midnight online check-in is not required to get a good Port Arrival Time (In fact, I discourage it. Stay asleep and do your online check-in a few days later when the technology isn't bogged down)
✨ There is a dedicated Concierge Lounge inside the terminal building at Port. You will not have to wait with the masses.
Upon embarking, you will be ushered to a private Welcome Lunch (you can skip it if you want, but it's a great opportunity to meet the Concierge Staff and make any reservation changes you'd like to make)
✨ Elevated stateroom accommodations (like a King Bed for mom and dad on the Disney Wish!)
✨ You'll have access to a Private Concierge Lounge from 7am-ish until 11pm-ish
If you need ANYTHING from any department on board, Concierge can handle it for you (usually while you have a drink in your hand)
✨ Happy Hour is from 5pm-10pm nightly...it's great to be able to grab a drink and take it down to dinner...then come back and get another one for the show!
✨ Priority disembark at Ports of Call
Early seating and complimentary popcorn for the shows in the Walt Disney Theater (Broadway Style shows)
✨ Express walk off service on the day you disembark from your cruise

I cannot be more thankful for the families I get to work with. I appreciate everyone who sent a quick message this week with good vibes. I’m thankful to the families whose vacations we rescheduled for trusting me to handle all the details in such a stressful situation. I’m excited for the families who decided to keep their plans and get to start their vacations in the next few days. I’m grateful to everyone who isn’t traveling this week for their patience in my getting back to you with questions that weren’t as pressing as what we dealt with the last few days.

My heart goes out to all the Floridians whose homes and families were impacted by Milton. That was absolutely horrific to watch.

Extended Evening Hours are coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this fall! I was working on early October itineraries last week and noticed some 6p-8p hours for deluxe level resort guests. I’m SO curious to see how this goes and if travelers find value in the extra few hours in this park.

The Holidays may seem far away, but we’re already starting to plan for them in the Disney universe! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party details have been released and families sailing Very Merry Christmastime cruises are starting to book their excursions. There’s still time to get in on the action!! ❤️

Calling all dreamers! I just absolutely love the Magic Happens parade at Disneyland. The tune is SO catchy. The costumes are gorgeous. It’s an all around good time!! ✨

As we head into Advanced Dining Reservation windows for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party season, it’s time to finalize party plans! This special ticket event is my favorite of the season. I sit with each of my families to see if adding this activity to their itinerary (or not), and make sure their vacation is deemed a success either way!

How ya doin, Midwestern friends? Surviving the heat ok? Listen, if it’s going to be just as hot here as it is in Orlando, might as well go to Disney this summer! 😂 I’m still working on July and August getaways - there is a ton of availability at resorts with great pools. Destination. Details. Deadlines. Dreams. There is SO MUCH to know when planning any Disney Destination vacation. My job is to make you an informed, confident traveler. I’ll remind you of all these do’s and don’ts as we prepare for your vacation!

When I start working with a family, I stress the importance of choosing a resort with elevated levels of luxury. I think a lot of times, families mistake my use of the term “luxury” to mean “white glove where Oprah stays” kind of thing. But it’s really not… when I say Disney resort luxury, I’m talking about: ✔️ easy transportation options to at least one theme park - so maybe that means being on the monorail so you don’t have to collapse a stroller or you’re walking straight out of the park and back to your hotel room ✔️ enough square footage for you to not be crawling over each other and your luggage when you are in the room ✔️ having a small resort footprint, so when you do get back from the parks, you don’t have a 10 minute walk to your room ✔️ a fantastic pool to give yourselves a respite from the hustle of the theme parks This video was taken last year on a Mama and Me trip. Junior Assistant spent (no joke) TWO HOURS going up the stairs and down the slide. She had a blast. It’s also worth mentioning it was followed by a quick shower and a two hour nap before dinner. ☺️
