While doing my research for the History and Mystery Tours, I discovered the story of Preston Turley. Some of you might have heard tidbits of Preston's story on the tour. (Short Story: He murdered his wife and threw her into the Coal River in 1858. Long Story: Listen to the podcast. LOL!)
He was hung for his crime, and that made me interested in capital punishment in WV. It is recorded that 155 people in the state that is now WV were killed for their crimes. This new podcast is gong to delve into those stories. It starts with Preston. Episodes drop on Saturdays. I thought this group might be interested!
