I’m setting sail on a Disney Cruise in a little over a week. This cruise is sailing to Lookout Cay - Disney’s new island in Eleuthera, Bahamas. Here’s what I am most looking forward to:

✨Stepping into the gorgeous atrium of the ship. I can’t help to feel awed every time I step onto a Disney ship - between the beautiful decor, fun energy and warm welcome by crew members, it’s such a fun way to start the voyage!

✨The incredible Disney entertainment. I’m really looking forward to seeing Tangled in the Walt Disney Theater - a Broadway-style production in a majestic theater

✨Relaxing at the Quiet Cove pool and Signals bar - the adult only area of the pool deck

✨Experiencing the different themed restaurant on board. From Lumiere’s to Animator’s Palate to Rapunzel’s Royal Table, each restaurant provides a touch of whimsy along side a great meal. And brunch at Palo, the adult-only restaurant is a highlight of every Disney cruise

✨Grabbi a cocktail at one of the themed lounges. Looking forward to an after drink at the piano bar on board. I’m also looking forward to having an old-fashioned at the Soul Cat Lounge - I’ve heard rave reviews!

✨Sharing a cheese platter from room service with Emma while we watch a Disney movie in our room while we get ready for dinner. She loves spending her days at Vibe, the teens club, so this is a nice way for us to spend some time together before heading to the main dining rooms.

✨Luxuriating in the beach at Lookout Cay while taking in the turquoise blue water. The beach at this new Disney destination looks stunning and I can’t wait to be a beach bum for the day

I went on my first Disney cruise in 15 years last April and fell in love with Disney cruising. I got off the ship and booked another wonderful for last November and I have three more on the calendar. Here’s what I LOVE about cruising with Disney

1. The ships are BEAUTIFUL. Combining the grandeur of ocean liners of the past and the whimsy of Disney, you truly feel like you have been transported when you step aboard a Disney ship.

2. There really is something for everyone. My teenager daughter LOVES the teen clubs. Between the incredible space dedicated to teens only and the crew members who are the counselors, she loves spending time there and has made friends who she is still in touch with today. the clubs for younger kids are the same way! And while the kids and teens are at the clubs, the adults can take advantage of the adult only pools, restaurants and lounges.

3. Service on board the ships is impeccable. From the stateroom attendants to the dining room servers to recreation and activities cast members, everyone is dedicated to you having the best time on vacation

4. The magic of Disney is sprinkled throughout your vacation. From dining to entertainment to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, attention to detail is paramount.
