These festive traditions didn't stop at the borders, though; they spread to Italy, Switzerland, and France. From Dresden's historic Striezelmarkt, dating back to 1434, to the iconic Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt, believed to have begun by 1628, these markets hold a special place in holiday history.

Do you prefer a big ship or a small ship? 🛳️ For me the bigger the better! And each ship that comes out I am blown away at all they can put on a cruise ship. I mean some are crazy - ice bar, formula one race cars, roller coaster, dry slide 10 stories tall, a dive show on the back is the ship and so much more. I also like bigger because I don’t get seasick in the larger ships. But to be honest- I will go on any cruise. I love them all!

Ocean Cay at night!
It’s beautiful during the day and at night.
Some amazing sunsets can be seen from here.
Head off the ship and towards the lighthouse.
A lot of itineraries have a two day stay here- you will love it!
1. Bring your own blow up raft or rent one ($35).
2. Skip the cabana- plenty of chairs.
3. Rent an umbrella- really inexpensive.
4. Do not miss the light show at night on the lighthouse.
5. Make sure you stop in the colorful shops.
6. Try lunch at one of the food trucks .
