Few pointers for the ones curious about the destination and unable to find flights or other details online :-

Lakshadweep travel needs much in ‘advance planning’
- We recommend planning a season in advance as flights, cruise, permits supply are all limited as compared to the demand !!

- Travel Season : September mid to May mid
- Direct flights only to and from Kochi by a subsidiary of Air India (gets booked months in advance)
- Reach Agatti Airport , then take boats to other islands
- Even Indians need a Special Permit to visit
- There are 36 islands , 12 atolls and 3 reefs – but only 10 are inhabited
- Islands that can be visited : Bangaram, Agatti, Kavaratti, Kadmat, Minicoy and Thinnakara
- Most stay options are Government run, and very few private ones
- The other option is Samudram Cruise plan – 3 islands in 5 days (Tickets open every month for a limited time for the next month or two and get immediately booked - very less chances of getting these)

Hi there ...I am Niddhi, the Boho Wanderer

I am a lover of all things Boho, wandering with a Hippie Heart, Gypsy Soul and Mermaid Spirit. I love the sight of new lands, the smell of new cuisines, the joy of meeting people from different origins. I never travel with a checklist for a destination, love getting lost in the streets and then use maps to navigate through the towns. Spending my childhood in a Defence family is the reason for my nomadic feet...and getting this gypsy bug in me as we had to switch towns every now and then!

Bitten by the Travel Bug, my focus is to infect as many people possible !

After working in various corporate houses for about 15 plus years into Human Resources and Talent Management functions, I finally took this plunge in 2018 to make living out of my passion. For all these years, planned numerous trips, itineraries, excursions for friends, family and work and always got accolades for the detailing, planning, ex*****on, and seamless experiences delivered
