Hola to C & J who are celebrating C’s birthday🎂while enjoying a girl’s getaway at Iberostar Grand Paraiso - All Inclusive in Riviera Maya, Mexico! For their stay they selected an Ocean Front Butler Suite with access to all the amenities that this resort has to offer.

This beach front resort 🏖 has direct beach access and is surrounded by nature and lush gardens. There are 4 outdoor pools, 7 All-inclusive restaurants, specialty restaurants, and 6 bars. They can be pampered with several spa and wellness services; take part in water and land activities; play a round of golf; or relax in one of the many quiet spots located around the resort. 🏊‍♀️🤿🧘‍♀️ There are a variety of entertainment choices to enjoy each night.

C & J are staying in the Adults Only section, making this a perfect spot for a girl’s getaway, and they are loving it! Iberostar Grand Paraiso also has a family section with lots of age-appropriate activities for the kids.

Congratulations to Jennifer Gill and Kevin Gill, who are currently celebrating their 20th Anniversary 🎊with their dream trip to Scotland and Ireland! 🍀 They began their 12-day trip in Glasgow, Scotland and will end in Dublin, Ireland. What an amazing trip this has been for them so far!

Beginning in Scotland, making their way to Edinburgh, they traveled from Glasgow through Inverness, the Highlands, and St Andrews, taking in the beauty of the countryside, mountains, and quaint villages. They visited castles, experienced local culture, and enjoyed a whiskey tasting at the Blair Athol Distillery, established in 1798. One of their hotel stays was a favorite of Charlie Chaplin. A cruise on Loch Ness, however, did not result in a sighting of the legendary Loch Ness Monster – this time at least!

A 3-hour ferry ride through the North Sea brought them to Belfast where they began their Ireland journey with a visit to the shipyard where the Titanic was built. Making their way to Dublin with overnight stays along the way in Killarney, they visited Blarney Castle; kissed the Blarney Stone; enjoyed a sheepdog demonstration; a Jaunting Car Ride; and a ride along the Ring of Kerry.

What’s still yet to come are a ferry ride to visit the Cliffs of Moher; a medieval-style feast in a castle complete with serenading lords and ladies; and a visit to Galway before ending in Dublin. And of course, lots of opportunities have been had for shopping and exploring the local villages and pubs!🍻

Jen & Kevin have been looking forward to this trip for a long time and I am so happy that it has been everything and more they hoped for!

Welcome Home to the E, D, A, and C families! This group of 12 family and friends recently returned from a 6-night Western Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy. 🛳 Their ports of call included Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and a day on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. A couple of sea days gave them ample time to enjoy the amenities on the ship.

There is so much to love about a Disney Cruise! Immersive dining, your favorite characters, Broadway style shows, and more. It is the only cruise line with Fireworks at Sea 🎆 to wrap up a full-blown Pirate Day. There is something for everyone to enjoy, no matter your age.

Prior to the cruise, these families spent a few days at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, making this a well-rounded vacation for all.

My husband and I recently returned from our 2-week trip to Italy. I previously shared a recap of week 1 - here is week 2:

We spent several days each in Rome and Sorrento during our second week in Italy.

In Rome we stood in the Colosseum, walked amid ancient ruins, threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, stood at the top of the Spanish steps, saw the panoramic view of Rome from Gianicolo Hill, and stood at the Pantheon.

In Vatican City we were awed by the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the precious art displayed in the Vatican Museums.

We explored the ruins of Pompei and felt the tragic losses. In Sorrento, our hotel overlooked the Gulf of Naples with a view of Mount Vesuvius. A boat excursion along the coast with a visit to Capri ended our trip perfectly.

Throughout our trip, we used the high-speed train to move through Italy between cities. We spent part of each day with local private guides who expertly immersed us in the history and evolution of each city, providing insights that we would never have realized on our own.

Each city has layers of its own unique charm and history. We loved the architecture, the many Piazzas, sidewalk cafés, quaint streets, roaming musicians, hanging laundry, and of course the food – all these contribute to the beauty and ambiance that is Italy. It was a trip we will never forget!
