Do you have information about recent vandalism along the Chilnualna Falls Trail in Yosemite? The unknown suspects wrote "I came, I saw, I vandalised National Park Property" and signed "Phyllis M" and "Kino 16," probably on June 14, 2016. If you were in that area on that day or have any information, please contact NPS Investigative Services Branch at 888-653-0009 or email [email protected].

While the Mariposa Grove remains closed until spring 2017 for a restoration project, you can still see sequoias in the Tuolumne and Merced Groves. Seeing sequoias in these groves requires a two- to three-mile round-trip hike with 500 feet of elevation change. Parking is limited, so arrive early. Visit https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/mariposagrove.htm for information about other sequoia groves outside Yosemite.

Ribbon Fall is on the northern side of Yosemite Valley, just west of El Capitan. Yosemite Indians aptly named it Lungootookooyah, meaning "graceful and slender one." Ribbon Fall's short flowing season, March through June, makes it less known than other waterfalls in Yosemite. Do you have a favorite obscure waterfall in Yosemite?
