The FastPass+ service at Walt Disney World is currently suspended. However, you may sometimes see certain Guests using the FastPass queue. Here are some groups of Guests you may see walking down the FastPass line, despite FastPasses not being offered:
Disability Access Service (DAS) - Guests with disabilities that prevent them from being able to wait in a traditional line can utilize the Disability Access Service. This allows them to wait outside the ride until it's their turn to ride, rather than physically standing in line. Once they've waited the allotted time, they enter through the FastPass line!
Rider Switch - Families with young children who aren't riding an attraction can trade off so that all the adults still get to ride. One adult waits with the non-riding child while the rest of the party rides, than uses the FastPass line afterwards so they get to experience the attraction, too!
Ride Recovery - Occasionally attractions will experience operational or technical difficulties. When this happens, the Guests who have been waiting in line may be offered the opportunity to use the FastPass line later on when the ride is fixed so that they don't have to wait in line again.
Club 33 Members - Club 33 is an exclusive, private club that allows members to use the FastPass line for any attraction, in addition to other perks.
VIP Tours - If you see guests accompanied by a Cast Member in plaid, then that party has booked a VIP Tour. These tours offer a privately guided theme park experience including quicker access to rides, so you may see them using the FastPass line or alternative ride entrances.
Golden Oak - Golden Oak is a neighborhood of luxury homes that is located on Walt Disney World property. Like Club 33 members, residents of Golden Oak also have access to the FastPass queue.
