Aloha kākou! Our lava boat tours will resume on Monday June 18th!! The recent lava activity has made Pohoiki Harbor inaccessible, so we will be departing out of Wailoa Harbor in Hilo. Due to the length of the tour and the cost, we will be combining our tours with Kalapana Cultural Tours and Hawaiian Lava Boat aboard 36’ COI vessel “Ohana”. As of today, Moku Nui Lava Tours LLC has met and exceeded all of US Coast Guard criteria and has been granted permission by the USCG to enter the restricted area at the Kamokuna Lava ocean entry, that was implemented on March 27th, 2017.
