Day two we started a little late at Hollywood Studios. We got Genie+ for our day and our first pick was Slinky Dog Dash.
Since we started late, we did not hit Rise of Resistance first, instead we went with Toy Story Mania where Heath loves to beat everyone. After that, we stayed in the area with Alien Saucers while we waited for our return time on Slinky.
We had lunch at Ronto Roasters and Docking Bay 7. The gluten free options were great!
We saw TONS of characters. This is great place for that. They have multiple Disney Junior characters, Pixar, and Star Wars along with Olaf and Sorcerer Mickey!
Hollywood Studios also has three amazing shows. This park is definitely our top park as a family!

Day 1 continued: after our morning at animal kingdom, we ran into Magic Kingdom to grab our virtual queue for Tron. Once we did that, we went to the Contemporary to swim for a bit to cool off and then changed to go back to MK. While in MK, we hit the teacups, saw Ariel in her grotto and rode the peoplemover or as Murphy calls it “moving people”. After that, the girls and I went back to baths and the boys stayed to ride Tron!

✨MAGIC BANDS!✨

“What are magic bands?” Is a question I get asked ALL the time! Followed by “should we get them?”

Magic bands can be super helpful. As a mom of lots, I love them for the fact my kids can get themselves through the Lightning lanes, into rooms, and the park! Another perk is that my phone can be dead-a consistent issue for me-and we can still get into our room.

So how much do they cost?
When you book a Disney World vacation package they are discounted! They cost anywhere from $15-$45.

So are they necessary? Not at all! Can they make things easier? Yes!

When we made our couple trip in April, we ate at California Grill at the Contemporary. It was such a cool place to eat and great for a “special” meal! The food was fantastic. It was worth changing all our plans after our flight was delayed for.
