It might not seem like a big deal, but staging your home makes a major difference when you’re trying to get the best price possible on the sale. 🏡💰
People are more likely to purchase a home when it feels like a home to them. You want them to be able to picture their own items there, not view all of your family photographs and memorabilia from your last vacation. 🤔
Staging helps people imagine themselves living in this space - their computer on the desk, their books on the table, and so on. 🛋🖼 If someone doesn’t see themselves living in a space, they won’t be inclined to buy the home!

One of The Style Attic's recent styling projects in a gorgeous apartment in Perth!
Why stage ❓
How the property is presented and perceived should be given as much importance and consideration as any consumer product on the market. 🤔
Staging uses design and conceptualisation techniques. 🎨 The objective is to have potential buyers walk in and envision the property as their home - that they can see themselves living and entertaining there. It’s all about creating a space that makes buyers connect emotionally to it. 🏠
Home Staging is a smart investment and a cost-effective marketing tool for the broker. It can be a deal-maker and sell a property for the best price in the shortest amount of time. 👏
A spiel on 21 Vine St ...
This gorgeous character home in North Perth, Western Australia, was a rewarding project for The Style Attic to undertake.
One of the first unique features I noticed were the enormous, floor length sash windows at the front of the home, a beautiful feature in some homes built in the early 1900's. 🏡
Keeping in mind the style and history of the home we styled by using bespoke pieces that were sympathetic to the era, whilst bringing it into the now and allowing the potential buyer to connect emotionally and visualize themselves residing in the home.
The property went under offer in the first week with some very happy sellers who have moved on to another beautiful property.
🌟 Another great team effort with an outstanding result! 🌟
As quoted by news.com.au, "When it comes time to sell a home, the right “look” of the interior can be the difference between a quick sale and a house sitting on the market for weeks."
For The Style Attic, It’s all about attracting the right buyer – we think about who is going to buy this house. You need to make them feel at place and inviting to the potential buyer.
Here's another Before & After of a vacant property from earlier this year in Karrinyup, Western Australia. 🌿
💎 RESTYLE - Before & After 💎
This is a lovely hills home with a warm feeling that would suit a large family. It has many ‘zones’ for extended family or older family members. 🏡
Showcasing the spaces of the home with professional styling will show the home to its full potential.
In particular- the first room entered (the sitting room/entry) requires some impact and by removing the pool table and dressing this area well will immediately set the scene and be attractive to potential buyers. 🌟
Last week, we were presented with this beauty! 😍
A property in all its original mid-century 60s glory ready to be staged with its gleaming newly polished floorboards.
Aqua tiles in the bathroom, blue in the laundry, brown floral in the kitchen!! A bar!! My favourite part of the home- an original 60’s kitchen laminate bench with a retro base (I hope this part of the home is retained with its new owner).. 🤗
While some may think it’s a challenge to stage, I couldn’t wait! You can’t ‘fight’ these features.. roll with it -add some more colour, a chance to pull out the retro vintage pieces (even a tray of my Grandmothers) and go for it! ⚡️
The owner was happy with the result (as were we and we got to have fun along the way..)
...As Marlon Brando said- “I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse” 😏

The Style Attic offer property staging for Vacant Properties as well as partial staging for clients who want to retain some of their own furniture.
This property in Ewen Street in Doubleview required staging for the whole house and the end result was a property that was much easier to visualise living in for prospective buyers and therefore easier to sell.
