Not cool!

It's incredible to see the sheer power of the sherpas and other porters in the Himalayas. The problem is, carrying loads this large isn't safe and we need to raise more awareness of that! The maximum load for porters is considered to be 15kg and anything over 20kg becomes quite unsafe.

We made it! Annapurna Base Camp, you beast of a thing. Slightly underestimated what we were getting ourselves into. Possibly the most mentally and physically challenging 10 days of my life and without a doubt, the most amazing, and to spend it with one of my favourite humans... and some new favourites too. There were injuries, sad tears, happy tears, below zero temperatures, friends found, friends lost and friends found again (CC!), but most importantly a bunch of laughter, high fives and OMG’ds as we scrambled across some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. We quickly learnt the trick to the stairs is - there is no trick to the stairs; not to run across pathways made of avalanche ice and to watch for donkeys before crossing the 278m bridge of death... overall, best 123km journey yet. Huge thanks to Ganesh, our new friend and all time legend for keeping us on our feet, fed and in high spirits🙏✨❤🏔 ganeshadhikarieverest t.ara.j 😊🙏 📷
