Ruka Rayen Bed & Breakfast is located at Kilometer Marker 22 on Highway 199 towards Argentina, just 15 minutes from downtown Pucon at the foot of Quetrupillán Volcano and between the rivers of Palguin (famous river for kayaking) and Trankura (famous river for rafting). Ruka Rayen B&B offers a tranquil nature retreat with close access to downtown cafes, restaurants and shops. Ruka Rayen offers 3 ro
oms, each with a private bathroom. The beautiful light-filled house was built lovingly by Peter, who can often be found in his woodshed or working on the land. The house offers a spacious and sunny kitchen where breakfast and coffee are served each morning. In high season, family style dinners and wine are also served to relax after a long day of exploring. Lunches and trail snacks can also be requested. Join us for a morning yoga class as you take in the surrounding mountains and tree-lined views. A clear, peaceful river flows just behind the house for morning coffee or an afternoon swim. There is also laundry on the property. We’d love to help you plan your day. We are always around to help guide you and the house is always open for you to relax, read or have a glass of the delicious local wines. Our favorite things to do:
- Scale the heights of the Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Lanin Volcanoes
- Hike and explore two National Parks (Huerquehue and Villarrica)
- Rent a bike or kayak while you stay and relax in the incredible nature
- Use our free fishing rods and explore the surrounding lakes, rivers and streams
- Go to one of the nearby hot springs and relax! GETTING HERE:
- Temuco is the closest airport and offers very cheap short flights from Santiago
- Bus route from downtown Pucon runs daily
- Easy car rental from downtown Pucon
