I want to show you all how to learn and earn this year!!!!! I have been awarded the IATAN certification two years back to back and was certified for my third last month. This certification is "earned not given". I have been able to book travel in order to earn $5000 in commission meeting the requirements for this achievement. That does not mean I only earned $5k...it was much much more. That is the "Learn and earn" that I would LOVE to show you. Sharing some good knowledge:

As a Travel Agent, I'm often asked about and sometimes even challenged on the questions of whether or not a Passport is needed to cruise and is Travel Insurance Necessary. I'm also often told by people that the can book their own stuff themselves. Can you cruise to/from a US port on a closed-loop cruise with your birth certificate - Yes. Do you have to purchase Travel Insurance - No it is optional. Can you book yourself - Yes, but do you know anything about the vendors you randomly found online? BUT the more important question is should you risk it?

This week there was a tragic story in the news of some cruise passengers who took those risks. They booked an excursion, rented scooters, were involved in a hit-and-run accident and were injured in port. They ended up in the hospital with no ability to pay for care, missed their ship and are now stranded in Mexico. My professional advice to my clients is to ALWAYS travel with a valid passport when leaving the country. In case of emergency, you cannot fly back into the US without a valid passport. I always stress the importance of purchasing Travel Protection Insurance as well. When my clients elect to book things on their own I strongly caution them about the risks. There are many layers to this tragedy but I encourage you to use a knowledgable and professional Travel Agent and listen to the advice they offer you concerning your trip.

A moment of reflection.....if you ask me to get you some food and there are French fries involved you will be a few short when I get to you.

The only exception is Waffle Fries because they are kinda big so I will only take one 😁🙃🤙.

If they are Rally/Checker fries you might want to send money to buy me a portion of my own....you have been warned.

If you get mad and look in the bag as if to count them I will eat one more in front of you, reach right in the bag you are holding.

I call it Luxury Tax.

Ladies and gentlemen of the travel world. Take heed!!! We all train and study the perks and benefits of what we book for ourselves and our clients. Every now and then the fruits of your labor have to be revealed to validate your efforts. I got this today in the mail. It is my Blue Diamond Club $500 prepared card. I earned this for booking with the Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana. The resort brand also falls under Marriott but unfortunately since I booked through Vacation Access aka "VAX", Marriott did not honor my redemption. They don't honor 3rd party bookings so if you want Bonvoy points you have to book directly with the resort. Sharing the lessons learned. However, at convention I got a very nice commission check that had a comma with large numbers before and after that comma from Archer via VAX. I registered my group booking with Blue Diamond and I was also awarded 99,000 points. Every 5,000 points is worth $50 hence the $500 card sitting in front of me right now. Please note that they would only let me redeem 50,000 points at one time and there are still $45,000 points on the books. I can use them for vacation days or more money. Fun times!!!

Your boss appreciates your efforts in making their legacy come true. When I want to see my boss I take a selfie. 😁. Got in late from the movies but let me tell you what happened. Tickets for the IMAX were $21.95 per person. Using my travel agent perks I got 3 IMAX tickets for $26.95. If you are out here travelling to the movies, Mexico, even the Mediterranean...and don't have travel agent credentials drop me a "How do I get them" in the comments. The benefits are AMAZING!!!!

I'm not being coy and vague by not telling the AMAZING amount of savings I get from being an affiliated agent with their brand.

Trade policy, you have to be an agent to get the prize.

Since you are ok without knowing the secret formula to Coca-Cola, McDonald's secret sauce, or the Colonels Recipe,🤪 you should be ok with not knowing mine. Lol.

I can book your trips all day, but I would rather show you how to book and get paid as well as get really great discounts and I dare say some "free" travel (paying just taxes and fees) for other trips.

You just spent more time doubting me than you did the Nigeria Prince emails......stop dilly dallying and join me. We have meetings daily if you want to learn more.
