We have over half of our dahlias dug. We had almost 3 acres this year. So far they're looking better than we expected as a lot of the plants were small. They apparently were growing underground which was awesome.

We are doing our last Saturday market for the year, tomorrow from 9 to 2 on the corner of Marion and Summer street in downtown Salem. Selling fresh cut Dahlias. The grands helped pick today 🥰

It's after October 15th. And a lot of times our flowers are gone. However, we have not had a freeze so they are doing great. If you haven't come out to the field yet to view the flowers and write down names to order tubers from for next year, come on out. We are also still allowing you cut down your bouquets. $15 a dozen 🌺

Tubers are selling fast. We will update the inventory in January after we have dug and can see just how many tubers we have. Thank you all for a great year.

Letting everyone know. Our dahlia farm is blooming. Not as grandiose as some years, due to the heat, but we have lots of flowers. We sell you cut flowers for $15 a dozen. And have a limited amount of potted dahlia plants. Call ahead if interested in the plants. If you're in the area visiting or live close by, please stop by. We are southeast of Turner, Oregon. Taking exit 248 off of I-5. Or you can go out highway 22 East of Salem and go through Aumsville. Our field is open 7 days a week 8:00 to 6:00.
We are also at the Salem Saturday market in downtown Salem through the month of September. At least. We are selling cut flowers, and potted dahlia plants.

Our dahlias are still blooming, probably for another 2 weeks before we start digging. So not too late to order for that special occasion. Here is a photo of last weeks Salem Saturday Market. We will be at the next two Saturday markets, October 15th and October 22nd come and get some flowers. We are on the corner of Marion and Summer Street in Downtown Salem.

Just to let everybody know we got a good frost on our dahlias last Tuesday morning. So the flowers are gone for this season. We will start digging soon. Thank you all for a great year. We'll be updating our website at the end of November with more inventory after we get everything dug.

If you need a great indoor activity on Saturday, Sept. 18th, head on over to Dallas, Oregon for a FREE Flower Show and Quilt Display. Sponsored by the Capital District Garden Clubs of the Salem area.

This event is from 10am to 4pm in the Gym at the Evangelical Bible Church, 1175 SE Howe St., Dallas - enter thru breezeway.

The show will have floral competitions as well as vegetable and fruit showcase. The Quilts on display are from the Garden Club members or friends. There will be Door Prizes as well.

A fun way to spend a rainy day. We will have a table with Dahlias on display.

We are currently allowing people to wander through our dahlia field and to pick flowers. We are in the process of getting the dahlia varieties marked and then we will be turning on our website for ordering.

Those of you who like to dig and store their dahlias. I have a free small freezer for you. It would be perfect to store your dahlias in in the garage and not worry about them freezing. First person to come first can have it.
