A ChiChi was inspired by the "big sister" in the local Caribbean community - the older sister or favorite auntie of the family, who is always there with a welcoming embrace. A strong and smart woman giving all the care needed to her loved ones with dedication, attention, and passion. It is with regards to body positivism and the importance to care for one another that many places around Curaçao have become home to one of these colorful pieces of art. On this eve of Tupac Shakur birthday 😁 ... oh, my bad, yall, wrong post, lol. But all seriousness, June 15, 2017, will always hold a special place in our hearts! It was the day we hosted our first official group trip as the #2DayCrew We brought together 12 travelers, some of our friends and family, but many came to us as "strangers." We all met in the Dominican Republic and embarked on a weekend full of laughter, high-speed excursions, and the longest spades game. We may not have traveled together knowing everyone, but we definitely left as family. Since that summer of 2017, we have hosted thousands of travelers and enjoyed reconnecting with repeat CREW and meeting new members. For everyone who has supported us from sharing our post, telling a friend, booking a trip, purchasing a gift card, encouraging us to keep going.....we THANK YOU! Not even a pandemic could stop the CREW!
