Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. will begin sailing from Galveston’s new Cruise Terminal 16 next year under a contract approved by the Galveston Wharves Board of Trustees on Tuesday. Galveston Wharves Port Director Rodger E. 🤔 Pondering passports? While a birth certificate might suffice for closed-loop cruises, having a passport can make your international travel smoother. It’s your ticket to hassle-free processing at international ports and can be a lifesaver if you need to fly back to the U.S. from a foreign port in an emergency. Plus, some ports require passports if you want to disembark and explore.

💡 Pro Tip: Some countries require passports to not expire until six months AFTER you return. It can all be a lot to keep track of: like who requires passports, who requires certain passport expiration requirements on top of just making the most out of EVERY port.
