The Kanakakunnu Palace



Its historic importance has been overrun by its utilization pattern. For any event, there is some space available here. The Nishagandhi Open Air Theatre has become a star attraction due to the cultural events held here almost everyday. The periodic flower shows, exhibitions are also observed within the property. The large campus around the main building, the old lovely palace makes it a prime location within the city for various activities. People come here for quiet evenings too. It is extremely well maintained and hence quite neat, clean and calm. Great place to visit in Trivandrum. If you have a free evening, try watching something in Nishagandhi.
