We met in kindergarten, started dating senior year, and packed our bags to travel the world 7 years later.
We traded in our jobs for a one way ticket to Thailand and haven't looked back! We're happy to say we're finally doing what makes us truly happy!

TOP 3 BEST HIKES EVER!! Climbing Mt Amos here in Tassie was unbelievable. We’ve always been big hikers but we’ve never really done anything quite like this. It was an hour and a half of steep boulder climbing - there were times we had to get on all fours to get up and down the mountain (also times where I had to grab Cristinas back pack to pull her up the mountain). Can’t wait to get to the National Parks in the West for some more views like this!

The Maekok Foundation is an organization in Northern Thailand dedicated to giving underprivileged kids the life they deserve. They have made it their mission to give these children a home, education and a loving family. We had the opportunity to visit Maekok with Cristina's sister, Michelle Olson, who has volunteered there in the past. It was an amazing, humbling experience that we will never forget. These children have lived through situations that I cannot fathom, yet their spirits remain so unbelievably high.

Believe it or not, our story began when we first met in Kindergarten back in 1998! As two kids growing up on Long Island we were always in the same friend group, but didn’t start dating until senior year of high school. Fast forward to now, we’ve been dating for over 7 years!!
A lot has happened in all that time…We each went away to different colleges and graduated a year early, both got our Masters Degrees, and started our careers. With our lives in motion, we counted our blessings knowing that we had two career paths that most people would kill for. However, despite all of our achievements, we still found ourselves a bit unsatisfied with what we were doing. There was something missing; we just couldn’t quite put a finger on it.
After backpacking through Europe, surfing in Hawaii, and teaching kids in South Africa, we realized that traveling was the one constant in our lives that made us happiest.
So, we made the bold decision to quit our jobs and follow our dreams. Now we’re living a life that truly makes us feel fulfilled, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Our ultimate goal is to encourage you to do the same. That doesn’t necessarily mean quit your job to travel, but to relentlessly pursue whatever it is that brings you happiness!
