Prepare for a flight with a baby🧒🏻✈️

Thinking about flying with a child can be stressful, especially if it’s your first time. There are a lot of difficulties to consider, like possible flight delays and long lines at the airport, as well as worries about how your baby will handle the flight. You might also have questions about what you can bring on board, such as baby food or a stroller.

We have gathered tips to make preparing for a trip with children from 2 to 12 years easier.

◼️ Ticket Purchase
For children aged 2 to 12 years old, there is a special fare available. This fare is priced at just 50% of a regular ticket and ensures your child gets their own seat and the same baggage allowance as an adult passenger.

◼️ Baby Stroller Carriage
If you’re travelling with a stroller for children over 2 years old, it’s included in your overall baggage allowance as part of your fare. However, please note that if the stroller exceeds the weight limit, there may be an additional fee required.

◼️ Onboard Meals
Certain airlines offer a dedicated menu for children during the flight. To ensure availability, it’s important to order the meals at least 48 hours prior to your departure.

◼️ Airport Stay
To ensure a comfortable airport experience for your child, we recommend booking the following additional services:

Going on a holiday but don’t want to travel without your pet?  In fact, it’s possible to travel freely with your pet around the world, but you should check in advance the important nuances of transportation, which we have collected for you.

📌 Basic rules for transporting pets on an aircraft:

▫️It is allowed to carry animals with a weight up to 8-10 kg in a container inside an aircraft cabin. Requirements and maximum weight for a carrier should be checked on your airline’s website.
▫️Pets with a weight over 8-10 kg together with a container must be put into a luggage. Dogs of aggressive breeds may also be put in the luggage, even if they are allowed into a cabin by weight.
▫️Service dogs and guide dogs are transported in a cabin free of charge. The fee for pets transportation depends on an airline and is of two types: fixed and by weight together with the container.

📌 Which paperwork should I have for my pet? 

▫️ International Veterinary Passport, which must include all data about the pet, its chip number, vaccination and parasite treatment.
▫️Chip or tattoo. The chip number or special tattoo must match the mark in the passport.
▫️Certificate of blood test for titration of antibodies to rabies virus.
