✨As we head into December, I always start to think about how our own British traditions differ from those of the Italian culture.

Here, Christmas still feels less about commercialism and more about religion and one of the focal points is the 'Presepe' or nativity scene🎄🇮🇹

This is far more than a decoration—it's an art form and a cherished tradition in Italy. 💫

🕊️ From simple family displays to elaborate masterpieces in cities like Naples (famous for handcrafted figurines on Via San Gregorio Armeno), these scenes beautifully depict the story of Jesus' birth, often with a touch of local Italian culture. 🌟

⛪They are often found inside churches where you can watch the scene come to life with lighting and sound effects, this is always a favourite with children who are mesmerised by all the little details.
