I’ve been celebrating his birthday for 16 years now but somehow it seems we are still in our twenties, weird! 🤣 🤣

He’s my favorite person, the best dad, absolutely hilarious and the hardest worker I know. He’s patient, kind, loyal and always down to have a good time!

I must admit, I was hesitant about this resort. A resort not on the beach, why?!?

But I have been proven wrong! The pools are gorgeous, there are so many areas to hangout and all of the rooms have views of lush gardens or pools. It’s a very earthy chic vibe but I’m digging it.

Now there is a beach club that we have access to and there are 21 rooms and a villa located exclusively at the Beach club. We will be touring this tomorrow!

I hear this one all the time but most people don’t take into account the time they spend RESEARCHING. The hours spent scrolling social media and polling your friends.

With a travel advisor, you are going to someone who knows way more about travel than you do. They know about brands and resorts and destinations. They spend hours researching and learning so you don’t have to.

My goal will always be that my clients get to “show up” to the trip! Their main jobs are to pack and have a good time!

One thing I will never regret is spending time with the people I love! Last week, 33 of my family members headed out on the Allure of the Seas for the first of (hopefully) many trips! We dined most nights together, enjoyed shows together, ate more pizza and ice cream than anyone should, and laughed!

Memories were made and new bonds were formed! I will cherish last week for years to come!

Make the plans, save the money and take the trip! It’s worth it!

Today is the beginning of new adventures for the Lamm fam and specifically this guy! He’s embarking on his own journey of self employment as he launches Lamm Creative Group! 🥳🥳

The timing was not our decision but when life throws things at you, you’ve got 2 choices: live in the hurt and the suck OR throw that energy into what’s next! We have chosen the latter and are excited about moving forward. Self employment brings lots of freedom along with lots of challenges but we are ready! 💪🏼 💪🏼

I’m ready to cheer this guy along as he grows his passion helping people bring their visions to life through live events! Lammy, we are so proud of you and I’m so proud to be Mrs. Lamm. 😘😘

Now let’s go sell some travel and produce some events, so we can keep dinner on the table! 🤣

This is an expensive travel mistake to make in 2024 👇

It’s going to be busy everywhere: Europe, the Caribbean, cruises, and of course Disney.

And you’re rolling the dice with your travel budget by booking everything yourself (your time costs money, but that’s a conversation for another day!)

Booking everything yourself online means you’re the backup, you’re the problem solver, and you’re the person you’ll have to rely on if flights get missed, the hotel bumps your booking, or someone in your party gets sick and you need to move the trip!

All of this can add up to hard-earned money lost.

When you work with me to plan, you not only avoid costly travel mistakes — things like booking flights for the wrong airport, booking hotels for the wrong dates, etc.

But you also have me as support every step of the way while you travel, and with how chaotic travel will be this year, that can make the difference between a fantastic trip and one you’d like to forget.

Every time a client makes it to the airport boards their flight, I'm so relieved knowing they are on their way!

But what happens if you do miss your flight?

1️⃣ First, if you’re headed to the airport and you’re pretty sure you won’t make your flight, contact the airline en route to let them know. They may even be able to start making arrangements for a new flight.

2️⃣ When you arrive, make a beeline for the airline’s customer service desk — they’re your best allies for getting booked onto another flight.

3️⃣ Get in touch with your travel advisor (Hey hey, that’s me!) so I can re-arrange your airport transfers and call the hotel to let them know you’re arriving later so you don’t risk getting bumped in an overbooking situation, or getting stuck with the worst room.

When travel plans hang in the balance, it’s a must to have support and someone to help smooth things over.

In Honor of National Shop for Travel Day,
let’s play a little game of “Would you rather,” but I’m putting a travel spin on it.

🏨 Big hotel chain or boutique hotel?
My answer: I love a good chain hotel! The have large brands and for me, that means long-standing history and high quality. Give me a big hotel chain with a boutique feel, and I'm in Heaven!

✈️ Hotel room upgrade or seat upgrade?
My answer: Hotel Room Upgrade. All Day. Every. Day!

🍹All-inclusive resort or cruise?
My answer: Don't make me choose! I love them both but maybe I'd prefer a cruise for a longer vacation because there's so much to do! (Pics are from my time at Sandals Royal Bahamian on a Babymoon - it was perfect for a short 3 night getaway!)

Controversial opinion about travel coming at you 👀

When it comes to travel planning you don’t have to be the expert.

In fact, I would argue that you definitely shouldn’t be.

Why?

Because you don’t *have* to be.

You want to have great travel experiences, and truly enjoy your precious vacation time, right?

The fastest and easiest way to do that is to use the strengths of the people and the resources around you.

Your calendar will thank you.

​​ YOU will thank you.

Focus on doing the things in your life you can’t quite delegate, and free up time by finding resources, people, and experts, who can fill in the gaps.

Why spend a bunch of your time planning your trips when there are people for that?
