Hello Travelers,
Whale watch season is approaching! Each year Humpback Whales migrate toward Hawaii to give birth, mate and enjoy the tropical waters around the Hawaiian Islands. Though the whale season is technically from December 15th to May 15th, the peak season is January through March. First sightings are typically late fall, though it is much more common to see pods of whales and playful activity in peak season when the whales become more aggressive to court and mate.
A suggestion is to enjoy whale sightings on other trips such as snorkeling or sunset sails. We find that most guests already want to do these activities and it is a plus when two events occur on the same trip. Current law requires boats to turn off their engines when approaching a whale. This allows passengers to observe the whales, which is quite a spectacle!
