A love for exploring...

The Schoeners (Eric and Cathy) have shared a love for travel since they met as teenagers at Penn State in 1980. Since then, they have traveled far and wide together in a quest to explore new places, meet new people, learn about other cultures and history, enjoy relaxing or favorite sports, admire nature and beautiful scenery, and to just plain have fun!!

Married for 33 years, their travels have evolved with the addition of two sons, new and varied interests, vacation time and the conception of Schoener Travel in 2012. They consider vacation experiences and memories with family and friends to be the best part of life, and they continue to always look forward to the next travel adventure together.

Cathy has a background in teaching and enjoys using her organizational skills to help create memorable vacations for her travel clients. Eric is an accountant and manages the business end while happily participating in travel research trips. Both revel in sharing travel experiences and tips to help others make the most of a new adventure.
