It was a colorful ending to the Buffalo River Elk Festival last night in Jasper - as seen from the Roundtop Mountain Trail. THANKS to all who help put this event together, and especially to those who came to visit Newton County!

NWTF gathering scheduled for June 17th at Fredia Vann's home in Webbers Falls. Breakfast 8:00am then fishing on the Lower Illinois River. Back to Fredia's for brisket and ribs, we'll bring the sides. Fredia has room for house guests, I'm staying on Friday night. Please rsvp.
