With Hurricane Helene affecting some travel and operations last week, and Hurricane Milton likely making landfall tomorrow and affecting travel and operations again this week, I thought I would point out one major reason to use a Travel Agent specializing in Disney.

Is anyone else feeling a little like Mike after all of the announcements coming out of D23 this weekend? Now that I’ve had some time to process, if you weren’t able to catch all of the updates coming in the next 5 years out at Disney World, here’s what you missed!

Had another fun filled day for Day 2 of our meeting! On the way to the park this morning a group of us splurged and took a Minnie Van to Epcot instead of taking the busses. Once we got there we had just enough time to take a few quick photos, hop on Spaceship Earth, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and check out the new show outside of Communicor Plaza to watch ¡Celebración Encanto! before meeting up with the rest of our crew.

For most of the day we were in different trainings, and Q&A panels at the Coral Reef restaurant before we were “let loose” for the afternoon. After that, we rode Guardians of the Galaxy (Our song was Disco Inferno) before we camped out at La Cava to wait out the rain. I tried both the Avocado Margarita, and the Lily (Both were good, but I think I liked the Lily better). From there we headed to a dessert party which was relocated to the American Pavilion due to weather, and the rain stopped just in time for us to check out Luminous a Symphony of Us.

I’ve had a blast these last 2 days and can’t wait to see what my last park day tomorrow brings ❤️.

It’s hard to believe that day one is already over! It may have been a 22 hour day, but it was amazing nonetheless. During my last trip, I decided that going forward each trip to Walt Disney World would include some new things, and today we did just that.

My flight landed just before 9am, and although my room wasn’t ready (Disney only guarantees rooms to be available after 4pm), I hit the parks. I started with Animal Kingdom, where I walked through the Maharajah Jungle Trek and got to see some pretty co animals (giant bats included), and then watched Feathered Friends in Flight where I got to see some pretty cool birds. Had a quick lunch at Satu’li Canteen and then decided to ride Dinosaur one last time before it closes (There is no confirmed closure date at this time, however Disney has made previous announcements regarding plans for this ride, and I just don’t know I’ll be able to make it down here again before these changes take place).

From there I decided to Park Hop to Hollywood Studios to do some shopping and take a quick ride on Rise of the Resistance before heading back to the hotel to change close and head to Disney Springs.

At Disney Springs tonight, 75 (Yes. 75) Fantastical Vacations Travel agents took over Summerhouse on the Lake for supper.

After dinner we watched the new Disney Dreams that Soar drone show (only available through September) before calling it a night.

Tomorrow I meet everyone else, and we have some more fun, exciting, and new things planned. I can’t wait to take talk with me.

And I’m off! I’m so excited for these next couple of days, and I’m going to bring you all with me!

These next few days is annual meeting for Fantastical Vacations and I’ve been looking forward to and planning this trip since December. We’ve got a LOT of fun things planned for these next 3 days (including possibly a 4-park one day challenge?!?), and am finally going to be able to meet a lot of the other agents who are going part of the Fantastical Vacations team. Did you know that Disney has various “Enchanting Extras” that you can book?

Tonight I participated in the Starlight Safari at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and aside from the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom, this is probably one of the cooler tours I’ve done (Although, ask me again on Friday after I do Keys to the Kingdom). This tour takes you onto the Savannah after dark and allows you to get up close and personal (as much as you can from the comfort of a Safari Truck), and you get to learn all kinds of fun facts about the animals on the Savannah!

One of the best parts about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is that you get early entry into the parks. Magic Kingdom opened to the public this morning at 8:00 and I got access to some of the rides starting at 7:30!

Even better?!? They open Main Street starting at 7:00 so you can get the coveted Castle pics with NO ONE in the background!

The busses started running at 6:00 this morning, and I was the FIRST one to the park this morning!

That’s right! I got to enjoy my QUICK SERVICE meal, on the patio at my resort tonight. The best part? Enjoying dinner with this view would have me the same as a meal at Dairy Queen back home if I didn’t have the dining plan.
