🍸ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Sophie deLightful🍸
Adaptable and reliable, this accomplished cabaret singer, burlesque/fire performer, MC, curator and producer has entertained audiences at festivals from Woodford Folk Festival to Boomtown in the UK, producing a string of shows across major cities and Fringe festivals. Her latest, deLightfully Debauched, debuted to a sell-out crowd at the North Australian Festival of the Arts last year.
In collaboration with her creative (and thirsty) friends, she has created boutique alcohol-tasting and life drawing cabarets, and continues to gain reputation as an Artistic Director and curator through works such as the Smokin’ Phoenix Steampunk Circus
and sell-out Circus of Light dance parties.
"Just the Tonic" comes to QLD for the first time since its multiple sell-out productions in Melbourne. A powerhouse voice, a powerhouse woman - this show, this human, is not to be missed!

The amazing Mr Fish performs a circus, comedy & mime extravaganza!. He can be seen flitting between big top touring circus tents & jumping onto cruise ships throughout the year, and we've managed to pin him down for "Just the Tonic".
Not since the vaudevillian of yesteryear have so many skills been seen in one amazing show and not even they could do it with a fish down their trousers.

Our next performer to be announced is the true embodiment of a powerhouse. She is a performer who just completed 15 shows, 30 sword swallows, 14 bricks and 30 bum staples, at a Melbourne Fringe season of Le Freak that earned 6 sell outs, 2 standing ovations and 2 awards.
So yeah. She's pretty good.
And this isn't even the act she'll be doing... she's bringing something BRAND NEW to the Debaucherous stage on 18 November. This is just some gag-worthy clickbait.

Sophie deLightful Presents
Sophie deLightful is a versatile performer, producer and artistic director, with a natural wit, cooling demeanour and an unnerving cheek. She is classy yet brash, heavenly yet devilish, and all the time brimming with sparkles and glitter.
Dipping her stilettoed toe into the burlesque scene first in London in 2009, she performed in newcomer competitions and showcases, and soon started to attract stand-alone gigs at various events and bars around the iconic city. It was, however, a return to the stage in Melbourne as a cabaret performer and producer which really got things moving for this powerhouse. Since 2015, she has forged a name for herself in the cabaret scene as producer of multiple productions (including Power Pu***es, Babes Ablaze, Frisky Whisky and Just the Tonic), with more in the pipeline. She also creatively directs and curates performances with businesses and festivals, alongside guest performing at regular cabaret and burlesque shows.
Adaptable and reliable, this accomplished cabaret singer, burlesque performer, circus artist and MC has entertained audiences at festivals including Wide Open Space (Alice Springs), AUM Festival and Twisted Frequency (NZ), Rainbow Serpent (Victoria), Elements (Queensland) and Boom Town (England), among others. In collaboration with her creative (and thirsty) friends, she runs biannual boutique alcohol-tasting cabarets, is a driving force behind the vaudeville collective, The Odditorium and is involved with Melbourne-based q***r creative collective Scratch. In the summer of 2018/19, she joined a troupe of international performers as part of the first ever Wandering Circus tour through New Zealand, and recently produced the first troupe’s first Australian tour for five weeks along the East Coast.
During Covid isolation, Sophie ran regular, paid live stream cabarets which employ a new cast of local and international performers each show.
