New beer 🚨

🔅 NEW BEER 🔅

Today (1/10) we introduce Boreal. Boreal is an 8.7% Imperial India pale ale brewed with our oldest friends of the industry Counterpart Brewing. We first met Greg back in 2016 while in brewing school in Canada leading us to our first commercial collaboration ever with them back in 2018! We are honored to have finally hosted them here for this beer as well as an imperial stout that will be coming out this mid spring!

Boreal is hopped with all Freestyle hops. We first used Motukea in the whirlpool followed by a dry hop of equal parts Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, and Rakau. We’re getting pineapple, passion fruit, orange creamsicle, grapefruit pith with a dank earthiness on the back end.

This beer will be available on tap upon opening today (4:00-9:00pm) with crowlers to come tomorrow (1/11). Come in for a pint and hang out with us! Cheers 🍻

🔅NEW YEAR, NEW BEER🔅

Today (1/3) we will be opening with our brand new 4.8% Czech style lager Subnivean 13º. Brewed exclusively with Czech pilsner malt and aggressively hopped with CZ Saaz, Subnivean 13º is our interpretation of a Czech Premium Pale Lager. While we don’t have the proper means for decoction at the brewery, we do have direct fire, allowing us to do step mashes. By doing so, a portion of the grain/wort at the bottom of the mash does come to a low boil, aiding in the rich gold color typically achieved in decoction methods. So with a triple step mash, extended boil time, and 8 weeks lagering, we did the best we could to brew this as traditionally as possible! We’re getting notes of floral spice, rich bread with subtle honey, and a noticeable hop bitterness. Subnivean 13º will be available on our Lukr side pour as well as growlers upon opening the taproom from 4:00-9:00pm. Come by for a pint or take some to go! Cheers!

Inspired by the film’s Vatican setting, this 4.5% Italian Style Pilsner is crafted with Eraclea Pilsner Malt from the Adriatic coast, combined with Perle, Select Spalt, and Saphir hops to bring notes of malty sweetness, honey, cracker, and spice.
