Today we ventured to the "Buda" side of Budapest, which you cross one of the bridges over the river Danube to do. Despite it supposedly being quieter than "Pest", it was crazy busy with tourists, a little like being back in Spain! I will say it again, the tour groups need to be banned or controlled, they spoil things for other tourists and the locals. Anyway here are a few photos of the days sights. It was a blue sky all day and despite it now being mid Autumn was actually very warm. Tomorrow sees us catch a train in the morning back to Vienna, then fly to London from there at about 8pm. Then just two nights later, we fly back to paradise, also known as New Zealand.

First our train from Dusseldorf to Nuremberg was cancelled - no reason given - just was. The new train they moved us to was 40 minutes late, and we have no reserved seats. Also a two hour longer trip! So we are now sitting in seats that say reserved for gold members, but hey we don't care, lol, we will sit here until told to move 😁

Some slow mo...

While in Cordoba we went to the famous equestrian show that has some flamenco thrown in for novelty. But... They do not allow video or photos to be taken, which is pretty annoying. The horsemanship certainly was very impressive! What they don't factor in is if you go to the Alcazar just next door, from the towers area you can see them practicing, so I grabbed some video from there 😁

Hard to beat live music heard from the balcony of your hotel room in Spain.

What NZ doesn't quite get... If you build wonders of architecture, to go along with the beautiful nature we have, tourists will flock into the city areas where they will spend thier money which we need so much!
