He had a delicatessen in Nutley, NJ from 1965 til 1976 where he perfected the art of his full cow cream mozzarella. He also owned a restaurant in Blairstown, NJ from 1987 til 2000, where the mozzarella was a main draw. He now lives in beautiful Southwest Florida, where he makes the mozzarella in a licensed kitchen and travels to farmer's markets with wife, Fran Battaglia, to sell to the locals and
