Have you heard the news? The Muppets are getting a new home at Hollywood Studios! Muppets Courtyard (including MuppetVision3D) will be closing to make way for the new Monsters, Inc. land. The Muppets will find their new home as the stars of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. I am bummed to see Aerosmith go, but I am so excited to see what comes from these changes to Hollywood Studios! If you want to visit one last time before things shift, you better do that soon! We do not know yet when the final days for these attractions in there current states will be.

Does this time of year put anyone else in the Harry Potter spirit? I always get the itch to watch the movies, and my husband and I have been listening to the audiobooks. The only thing better would be strolling through Hogsmeade in person, Butterbeer in hand. Anyone want to go so that I can live vicariously through you?

Picture this: You wake up right in the middle of the magic and walk out to your balcony where you have a view of Cinderella’s castle. You hop on the monorail right from your resort to spend a day in the parks. Want to retire early? No worries, because you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the comfort of your room!

This is going to be a reality for the “R” family this spring! I am so honored to be helping them plan such a truly special vacation!

These are the emails that make me tear up because YOUR memories are the best part of my job! My girl Savanna was able to visit FIVE parks across Disney and Universal, plus Disney Springs and City Walk on a trip that was less than 48 hours long! During that time she was able to ride rides, see shows, test out all the forms of free transportation, try so many new foods + drinks, and stay at an amazing resort themed after the African Savanna. I loved getting to work with her on this last minute trip and give her all the tips and tricks to help make such a jam-packed trip possible!

Happy Halloween to all who celebrate! I am curious, what are you or your kiddos dressing up as this year? We really don't enjoy spooky in our family, but we love to see all the creative costumes and hang with family and friends. My boys are going to be dinos this year, at the request of my two-year-old.

Lot’s of bittersweet updates coming to Disney World🫶🏻

🦕 The last day of operations for TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in DinoLand U.S.A. will be January 12th, 2025. Work on Tropical Americas continues with the installation of progress walls at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on January 13th. The other parts of DinoLand will remain open for now!

🚂 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for refurbishment beginning January 6, 2025. The attraction will reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026.

🧜🏻‍♀️“The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure” is finally headed towards reopening. Work on the exterior of the building will begin soon in preparation for the premiere of this fully reimagined show in summer 2025.

🛟Jungle Cruise will reopen on October 16th. Jingle Cruise returns on November 2nd!

If anyone needs to walk through DinoLand one last time or can’t wait until 2026 for Big Thunder Mountain, now’s your time! I can make a last minute trip happen for you!

Do you remember the 21st night of September?🎶

Fun fact: this song will play on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT on repeat today! This attraction normally has 5 different songs that play at random— you never know what you are going to get! That is one of my favorite parts of this attraction. It is never boring!

This is a favorite ride in my family, with a few of my family members saying it is their favorite thrill ride they’ve been on! If you’re a thrill seeker or a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, this is a must do ride for you! And I cam help make sure you get to experience it😊

I have some bittersweet Disney news to report: as of last week, Lou the manatee from EPCOT The Seas has been relocated to another facility outside of Disney. I might’ve cried when I read the news; I mean he’s been there for every single one of my EPCOT trips and I didn’t say a proper goodbye! Feels like the end of an era. Anyone else oddly obsessed with the Disney animals? And the manatees are just so easy to love. However, I am of course relieved that Lou is getting the care he needs, and hopeful that his friend Lil’ Joe back at EPCOT will get a new companion very soon! All three dolphins will also be leaving EPCOT soon to go to a new home. It’s always a bummer when changes like this happen, but Disney has to act in the best interest of our marine friends!

In the spirit of Friday the 13th, I wanted to share a Disney World fun fact. Did you know that when the wait times at Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom or Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios show 13 minutes, it actually means that the attraction is a walk on (no wait!)? This is one instance where 13 is a very lucky number indeed.

Another fun fact: I turned 13 on Friday the 13th and had a superstition themed birthday cake- broken glass and black cats included!
