Lot’s of bittersweet updates coming to Disney World🫶🏻

🦕 The last day of operations for TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in DinoLand U.S.A. will be January 12th, 2025. Work on Tropical Americas continues with the installation of progress walls at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on January 13th. The other parts of DinoLand will remain open for now!

🚂 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for refurbishment beginning January 6, 2025. The attraction will reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026.

🧜🏻‍♀️“The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure” is finally headed towards reopening. Work on the exterior of the building will begin soon in preparation for the premiere of this fully reimagined show in summer 2025.

🛟Jungle Cruise will reopen on October 16th. Jingle Cruise returns on November 2nd!

If anyone needs to walk through DinoLand one last time or can’t wait until 2026 for Big Thunder Mountain, now’s your time! I can make a last minute trip happen for you!

Do you remember the 21st night of September?🎶

Fun fact: this song will play on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT on repeat today! This attraction normally has 5 different songs that play at random— you never know what you are going to get! That is one of my favorite parts of this attraction. It is never boring!

This is a favorite ride in my family, with a few of my family members saying it is their favorite thrill ride they’ve been on! If you’re a thrill seeker or a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, this is a must do ride for you! And I cam help make sure you get to experience it😊

I have some bittersweet Disney news to report: as of last week, Lou the manatee from EPCOT The Seas has been relocated to another facility outside of Disney. I might’ve cried when I read the news; I mean he’s been there for every single one of my EPCOT trips and I didn’t say a proper goodbye! Feels like the end of an era. Anyone else oddly obsessed with the Disney animals? And the manatees are just so easy to love. However, I am of course relieved that Lou is getting the care he needs, and hopeful that his friend Lil’ Joe back at EPCOT will get a new companion very soon! All three dolphins will also be leaving EPCOT soon to go to a new home. It’s always a bummer when changes like this happen, but Disney has to act in the best interest of our marine friends!

In the spirit of Friday the 13th, I wanted to share a Disney World fun fact. Did you know that when the wait times at Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom or Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios show 13 minutes, it actually means that the attraction is a walk on (no wait!)? This is one instance where 13 is a very lucky number indeed.

Another fun fact: I turned 13 on Friday the 13th and had a superstition themed birthday cake- broken glass and black cats included!

I recently booked a trip to Walt Disney World and Universal for a really sweet multigenerational family! I know they are going to have a blast hitting so many parks on their trip in just over a month! I'm so jealous, late October is a magical time to visit!

Today I booked some clients for a character breakfast at Crystal Palace for their upcoming trip to Magic Kingdom! Here’s what they have to look forward to:

🍯 Meeting Pooh and his friends (Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet)

🍯 A delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet

🍯 Idyllic scenery inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s and views of Cinderella Castle + Main Street, USA

Right in the heart of Magic Kingdom, this is going to be an enchanting way to kick off their park day!

I was also able to snag them a dinner reservation at ‘Ohana, and if you know me, you know that’s one of my very favorites!

The best part is that they didn’t have to wake up before the sun and book it! That’s a great perk of using a travel planner- you get to sleep in and wake up to an email congratulating you on your reservations!

Disney After Hours events are returning to Walt Disney World in 2025!

This is a separately ticketed event with lots of perks:
✨Limited number of guests (aka less crowds)
✨Enter the park as early as 7 pm and stay 3 hours
after close
✨Shorter wait times
✨Meet some of your favorite characters
✨Enjoy complimentary snacks like ice cream, popcorn and select drinks

These events return in early 2025. Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels September 4th. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale September 10th.

The D23 expo happened over the weekend which can only mean one thing— SO many announcements about what’s to come at Disney! I shared the updates on my Instagram stories, but it was a lot, so here’s a little recap! The biggest things to be on the lookout for are:

🦹Villains Land at Magic Kingdom: The darker side of Disney is taking center stage with a new Villains-themed area at Magic Kingdom! Something wicked this way comes, and we can’t wait to explore it.

🏁Cars Land Expansion: Get ready to rev your engines as Magic Kingdom brings the world of Cars to life with two new attractions starting construction in 2025!

🦜Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom: Adventure awaits with the all-new Tropical Americas land, featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones rides-set to bring even more magic to Animal Kingdom!

🚢 Disney Cruise Line Expansion: Four new ships are joining the fleet by 2031, with the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny already setting sail soon!

🎢 A Monsters, Inc. Land at Hollywood Studios: Step into the world of Monsters, Inc. with a brand-new land and the first-ever suspended coaster in a Disney park!

🐋 Avatar Land at Disney California Adventure: The west coast is getting its own version of Pandora, but this time themed after Avatar: The Way of Water and other new Avatar films.

🕸️ Avengers Campus Expansion: the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Disney’s California Adventure is doubling in size, including two new attractions!

💀 Coco Atraction at DCA: California Adventure is also getting the first ever Coco themed attraction! Filled with the characters and music you know and love, this ride will allow you to travel with Miguel to the land of the dead.

Did you know that it’s Harry Potter’s birthday today? Perfect day to start thinking about your next trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Especially because Universal Orlando just announced some more details about the Harry Potter section of their new park, Epic Universe! You’ll be able to walk the streets of Paris in the Wizarding World from the Fantastic Beasts movies, as well as enter a full scale Ministry of Magic! It looks amazing!⚡️

Staying on property at Walt Disney World just got a new perk! With the amendments to the line skipping service at WDW comes even more incentive to stay in a Disney Resort hotel. The new Lightning Lane Single and Multi Passes are available for Disney Resort guests a week ahead of their trip, and just 3 days in advance for everyone else with date-based tickets! That means you get at least a 4 day head start to booking those lightning lane selections! If this doesn’t sound like a big deal to you, I can just say that those lightning lane selections book up quickly, and you have a much better shot of getting what you want by purchasing earlier!

If you’re considering purchasing Lightning Lane for your next trip, I definitely recommend you consider staying on property too! If you’re curious about what other perks are available just for on site guests, shoot me a message! There are several and I’d love to chat with you!

I recently shared what a full day of nursing in EPCOT looked like, and here’s the Magic Kingdom version! It’s so important to me to let the mamas of littles know that you can totally experience Disney! No matter the age or stage of your kiddo, there are ways to make it work and I can totally help because I have BEEN THERE! This is my second time bringing an exclusively breastfed newborn to Disney, and our trips have been the sweetest. I also thought l’d add that each Disney park has a Baby Care Center with quiet and cool places to nurse, but I prefer to just feed my baby on the go most of the time because that’s what works for my family!
