Memory Maker is an added purchase for pictures and videos from your trip. It is unlimited during the stay of your trip from Disney photographers throughout the parks. You can then view them in the My Disney Experience app and purchase photos of your choice.

We also did the Memory Maker option with our package. It is important to me to be able to have pictures and be in them, so it is worth the added cost to us. This does then also give you all of the ride photos and some extra perks when you download the pictures. I always then buy the photos on the flash drive, but you could also just download them to your computer. Rylie also enjoys having the MM as she uses it for her own private photo shoot!

We stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort again during our 7 night/8 day stay. This resort has many great options, especially for families. There are standard and preferred rooms, along with preferred pool rooms, and there are three pool options. The option to use the skyliner to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is a definite plus. We did decide to use Lyft one morning for Early Entry to Epcot at the line to get onto the skyliner was all the way to the end of the resort due to both parks have Early Entry hours with it being spring break time. The skyliner is a great way to access both parks as well as some other deluxe resorts, such as Yacht and Beach Club as well as Boardwalk.

We chose a preferred room as it is closer to the main building, the pool, and bus transportation. There really are no rooms that are too far away, but some sections are closer than others.

Our dates were over spring break, from March 23-30 so we did expect heavy crowds. Magic Kingdom was pretty busy our first two days, but our last day was Good Friday, and lines/wait times were extremely long. Epcot was a long day as we rope dropped and closed down the skyliner, and crowds were pretty average. Hollywood Studios was another rope drop day, with crowds being pretty average and wait times typically a bit lower for spring break crowds. Our last day was Hollywood Studios as well, and there were several rides down, which made other rides have extremely long wait time (ex: Slinky Dog was 170 min at 2:00pm). Animal Kingdom was a half day for us this trip, but we still were able to ride what we wanted and be out of the park by about 12:30pm.

Food options at Pop are limited to Quick Service and snack options, but for us this was great. We did wander over to Art of Animation for lunch one day as well as dessert one night as they did have a few different options. Mobile ordering is an option at this resort if you didn’t want to wait in line, as some days the cashier lines were pretty long.

The weather was beautiful this trip, with only a small amount of rain and temperatures were very mild. Most days we started and ended with long sleeves, and our Epcot day was the only one where it felt like 90. The rest of the days were in the mid 70s to low 80s, and each day was very breezy!

Review of Magic Kingdom’s Fireworks and Dessert Party

We were very fortunate to be able to go to a dessert party for the fireworks during our stay. We did the post-party which I feel was definitely the better option. Disney has three types of parties- pre fireworks (dessert and treats before the fireworks) post fireworks (dessert and treats after the fireworks) or treats and seats (dessert and treats during the show with seats inside one of the quick service restaurants). Guests can watch the fireworks from the garden area in front of the Plaza Restaurant which is a great view, and wristband is needed to enter.

I think it was better to do the party after all the fireworks as we got better seats in the viewing area while others were eating. We checked in about an hour before fireworks and were shown the viewing area. We then went to Tomorrowland Terrace after the show to have our dessert. We were not rushed to eat to watch the show, and crowds were much smaller to exit the parks.

The desserts included a cookie bar for kids, lots and lots of great mini desserts, and beverages. There were juices and milks, as well as beer and wine for those 21 and over.

The tickets are pricy, but well worth the extra cost!

Review of Roundup Rodeo BBQ- Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios

We were fortunate to be able to eat at this restaurant twice during our stay over spring break! It was only open about a month when we visited but you would not have known that. Both servers were great, and very helpful in menu options and in general.

The food was great as well, and was served family style. The appetizers were rolls and jelly, watermelon salad, spring mix salad, and cucumbers with tomato. The main course was chicken, ribs, brisket, and sausage. There are 8 side options, and you are able to pick four. There are also several different cake/pie options as dessert included as well. We also were able to modify the “potato barrels” as they had green goddess sauce on them and Rylie doesn’t eat that.

You really do feel like you are in Andy’s room and the decor was amazing!!! And here are several whole restaurant interactions where you have to follow directions and it’s a lot of fun! I don’t want to spoil for all but it was a great experience!

Since we stayed at Pop Century, we had access to the Skyliner. The Skyliner transports to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and it was very quick to get there.

We didn’t have to wait in any line our first day when we did early entry. The other two days, we waited in a very long line but it didn’t take very long to get through. After the fireworks at Epcot, the line was insanely long, but only took about 20 minutes to get through. This was definitely faster than making your way to the front of Epcot and trying to get onto a bus.

We had 5 people and a stroller so it was very rare that we had other guests in with us in our car. The cars can fit up to 10 guests, depending on strollers, wheelchairs, or scooters.

Each park has a Starbucks inside, each with different names. We visited each several times throughout our trip. While I love Main Street Bakery as it is in the middle of Main Street and is super cute, Connections Cafe in Epcot was the winner this time. It is very large inside, which makes waiting in line easier to order as well as waiting for your items. There are lots of tables and booths next to Starbucks, as well as a ton of tables in the other eating section with fountain drinks. It was a great place to fill up water bottles as well.

I will be reviewing our trip, from our resort to the parks and restaurants. We had the best trip, and I can't wait to share all we did, as well as any tips or tricks. It was VERY hot, so we all look a bit melted in some of the pictures LOL!
