During the sea days, the expedition team transforms the ship into a floating classroom offering explorers onboard insights into Antarctic wildlife, geology, and climate change. Keep an eye out for sea birds, dolphins, and whales while also getting tips on capturing stunning Antarctic shots. Additionally, prepare for safe and responsible landings..

These hares can run up to 60 km/h (37 mph) and are known to leap up to 10 feet in a single bound!

Historical Sites in Svalbard

While sailing across Svalbard, you will visit Barentsburg, a Russian coal mining town since 1932, currently home to about 500 residents. Here, you can explore old Russian artifacts and architecture, enjoy a folklore show, and soak up the authentic Russian atmosphere.

Young Explorers 👨‍👩‍👦

Expedition Travels is not just for adults; it's also perfect for curious and active youths. They can join fun, eco-friendly activities designed to spark their sense of adventure. These activities help them gain a deeper understanding of nature, climate, and culture, covering topics like wildlife, local food, environmental protection, and famous explorers.

The expedition team also conducts daily onboard and onshore activities for the Young Explorers, culminating in a special certificate at the end of the journey.
