Big news from Disney just dropped 👀

➡️ Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will be re-themed with the Muppets taking over for a rock music festival. 🎸🎶
➡️ A new Monster's Inc. land will replace the Muppets Courtyard area at Hollywood Studios. The land will include a suspended roller coaster, shopping, dining, and a new theater show, likely in the existing Muppets theater building. 🎢🎬
No start date for these projects has been announced yet but Disney says there’s still time to catch a super-stretch limo to enjoy Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and catch Muppet*Vision 3D again before their final curtain calls. 🥹

In just 22 days, I’ll be onboard the Disney Treasure for a special, exclusive preview cruise before she officially sets off on her on inaugural sailing, December 21. 🎉

I am thrilled to share that starting in summer 2026, Virgin Voyages will set sail on 7-12 night cruises to Alaska departing from Seattle and Vancouver! 🩵

Today I explored Halifax, Canada for the first time, and it was an absolute delight! The city charmed me with its picturesque Halifax Waterfront, one of the world's longest downtown boardwalks. I strolled along the 4 km stretch (look at me using the metric system 😉) taking in the beautiful sights and sounds.
My adventure continued as I ventured downtown, where I visited the historic citadel and the enchanting public gardens. The rich history and vibrant atmosphere of Halifax truly captivated me.
To top off my day, I enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at the highly recommended The Bicycle Thief. I can attest that it was indeed delicious! 😋
My first visit to Canada, and Halifax in particular, was nothing short of memorable. 🩵

Today, I woke up in another charming New England town. I had the pleasure of exploring the enchanting town of Portland, Maine. I meandered through the streets of the downtown area, discovering unique and quirky shops that showcased the town's character.
Next, I made my way to the iconic Portland Head Light, standing proud as Maine's oldest lighthouse. The breathtaking coastal scenery, rich history, and peaceful ambiance created a truly unforgettable experience. I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to visit such a remarkable place.
It was a beautiful day in Portland, and I can't wait to return to this charming town and explore more of its hidden treasures!

If I’m being honest, I was a little worried about embarking on a week-long solo cruise for work. But I am halfway through my journey and I am having the most incredible adventure! ☺️
Here are some of the reasons why:
▪️ Traveling solo reignites my independence and self-reliance, as I navigate unfamiliar destinations and embrace new experiences with confidence. 🌎
▪️ The freedom to create my own itinerary and adjust plans on a whim is liberating, allowing me to truly immerse myself in the journey. Being open to spontaneity has offered me so many delightful discoveries and unexpected surprises. 🗺️
▪️ Traveling solo has also encouraged me to connect with other passengers and travel advisors who are onboard this week, which might not have been possible if I were traveling with friends or family. The connections I have made on previous solo trips have added so much joy to my journeys and I am so thankful for the friendships I’ve maintained after returning home. 🤝🏼

While I miss my family like crazy, I can't help but be grateful for the transformative power of solo travel. I'm cherishing every moment of this unforgettable experience and can't wait to share my stories with my family and friends upon my return! ❤️

"Spotlight Bar" breaks the mold of traditional cruise ship entertainment, offering a unique blend of modern music and engaging tales. It's a celebration of community, connection, and the joy of finding a place where everyone belongs. 💙

I was blown away by the exceptional singing and dancing of the Princess Performers, their talent and passion radiating throughout the show. Spotlight Bar" is a must-see show! 👏🏼

This morning, I had the pleasure of attending a talk by Humbert, a destination expert who shared valuable insider knowledge and secrets to make the most of our time in our upcoming ports. 👍🏼

The Touro Synagogue is an iconic landmark in Newport, Rhode Island. Built in 1763, it holds the distinction of being the oldest surviving synagogue in the United States, representing a symbol of religious freedom and tolerance. The congregation was founded by Sephardic Jews seeking refuge from persecution, making it a vital piece of Jewish history and American history as a whole.

In August 1790, President George Washington wrote a significant letter to the Jewish congregation of Newport, Rhode Island. In this historic letter, Washington expressed his appreciation for the participation of Jews in building the new nation, and he emphasized the importance of religious liberty rather than mere "toleration."

This letter has become a cherished document in American history, representing the fundamental principles of religious freedom and equality upon which the United States was founded.

It’s a chilly, but beautiful day in Newport, RI. Unlike international ports with their language barriers, unfamiliar currency, and unique customs, U.S. ports offer a more accessible experience. In Newport, the walkable layout of the town makes it easy to venture out without the need for pre-booked excursions.
I decided to take a leisurely stroll into town and let my curiosity guide me through the charming streets lined with quaint shops and eateries. I enjoyed the convenience of exploring at my own pace and discovering hidden gems along the way.
