One trick with flying with kids is consider buying the reusable puffy stickers that have scenes for kids to move the stickers. We love the Melissa and Doug ones as they are high quality, a great price and have many options- farm, mermaid, animals, house and so many other themes. They take minimal space in your carry on and give hours of entertainment. Of course, you need to do it with kids that put things in their mouth still, but they have fun with it too. And after your kid or grandchild gets bored, you just swap the scene. And no I am not sponsored by Melissa and Doug, but am a mom sharing what works for us :)

After a fun filled day at the parks, one of my favorite spots to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks is at the beautiful (and convenient) monorail resorts. We love staying on these lagoon resorts as you can watch the fireworks over the castle from many of the theme park rooms, the resort's beaches, docks and many of their restaurants. This photo is from the Polynesian beaches where you can watch the fireworks from their white sand as they pipe the accompanying music on the beach and then skip the crowds to leave to your room after a long day.
