Another day, Another train ride. This time we went to the Brecon mountain railway for a return journey, then followed by some free time in Brecon itself.

Lovely day for a train ride today. We travelled from Devil's Bridge to Aberystwyth on the Vale of Rheidol line.

Great visit to the Elan Valley visitor centre earlier followed by a drive around the Elan Valley with the coach, lots of it is single track with passing places, a couple of narrow bridges to negotiate as well. Free time in Llandrindod Wells when we got back.

Lovely day at Sissinghurst yesterday and another lovely day so far today. Picture of a very unusual tree, officially known as a tulip tree, it only flowers every few years, luckily it waited for us to arrive today

Well, the sun has been shining for 9 days so far. We've reached our final hotel on this tour. It's been a fantastic few days away, lovely scenery, lovely weather and lovely places that we've visited.

I know I keep saying it but yet another fantastic day, we've been blessed with yet more scenery and sunshine.
Today we made a round trip of heading North East up towards Dornoch then across to Ullapool and back, stopped at a lovely little tea room enroute as well.

Nice steady drive alongside Lochcarran down to Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. Today's surprise was a lunch break at the Kings Arms. We now travel back to Kyle of Lochalsh where we board the train to Dingwall.

Nice drive around some of the North Coast 500 route, a couple of hours here before returning later

So, after a free day in Oban yesterday we travelled up to Fort Augustus, then a woolen mill near to Inverness and arrived about half 4 this afternoon.

Great scenery on the boat across to the Isle of Mull this morning, now we have a couple of hours here in Tobermory.

All checked in, lovely meal, had a fairly busy day. We've not travelled that far but seen some lovely scenery on the way here. I also included a surprise lunch on the way.

Lovely stay last night in Drymen, very steady drive over the Rest and be Thankful and a bit of free time here in Inveraray before travelling along the south side of the peninsula and eventually heading up in Oban tonight.

Although we arrived home yesterday, I just wanted to say what a lovely tour we've just had.
I meant to put some photos of the farm trip the other day but never got around to it so I'll put some on now.
Who knew what a day it would turn out to be.

Had a good journey yesterday, foods good and an excellent visit to see Concorde this morning
